  • Aren't these guys supposed to have a classified id? I mean, how come they have a whole documentary revealing so much about themselves and their unit?

  • @radioactiviteed IT IS DELTA FORCE WHOSE EXISTANCE IS SUPPOSE TO BE SECRET BUT IT IS NOT A VERY WELL KEPT SECRET, THE MEN OF DELTA FORCE ARE UNKNOWN HOWEVER.

  • hahahahahaahahaahaha, hilariuos at 05:28

  • do you have to have a moustache to be in special forces?

  • hmmm.... the urdu guy can't really speak urdu...

  • SF or Special Forces refers to the US Army Special Forces. Commonly known by their nickname, the green berets or the quiet professionals. Any other SOCOM (Special Operations Command) units; Navy SEALs, RECON, Rangers, PJ's, CCT are considered Special Operators, not special forces.

  • @kasem1065 The only other group that could be considered Special Forces is Delta Force. Since there the fourth operational detachment. SF-ODA, 12 man SF A-team. SF-ODB, Company control and support team, SF-ODC, Battalion command control, miscellaneous task, SF-ODD, Delta Force. Which has its own internal detachment structure.

  • @kasem1065 Nope. Delta is NOT considered SF. They are indeed referred to as operators or SOF (Special Operation Forces). SF's are the only ones who should be referred to as such, they earned that tab on their left shoulder.

  • @TheSammyreynolds Very true. But the Delta linage & organization are is still apart of the Army Special Forces community, even though its members & leaders aren't necessarily apart of the traditional Special Forces hierarchy or SF themselves in the purest sense(Thats why their call the 1st Special Forces Group - Operational Detachment Delta). The same can be said towards the relationship between DEVGRU and the Navy SEALs.

  • @TheSammyreynolds ONLY Green Berets have right to call themselves Special Forces

  • @sniperRobert you are correct.

  • @sniperRobert Just to add to that, the Army Special Forces do not go by "Green Berets".

  • @ThatBoyBoogie they are Special Forces, but their nickame is Green Berets. The same like Naval Special Warfare Development Group: Devgru or Pararescue: PJ's

  • @sniperRobert

No. DevGru is a short for Naval Special Warfare Development Group, PJ is a short for Pararescue-Jumper, or even SEALs (Sea, Air, Land). These terms are used by the armed forces in reference to the respective groups. The term "Green Beret" is not used by the armed forces, its used by people in the media or like here, on the internet.
