  • I never thought of keeping a pleco as a primary tank inhabitant. I have always thought of adding them as a cleaner. Interesting. It's hard to say how large your plecos are from your video but my parents have one that seems about that size. They feed him algae flakes. He comes to the surface to eat them. They can drop the flakes right in his mouth. My mom tried to pet him once and he didn't like her for a while after that.

  • Plecopter

  • What did u feed them I just bought one and I really want it to get that big what do I feed my place

  • man where did you get those clay pipes i love them pleas tell me

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this must be... THE CLEANEST TANK EVAR! i love a few of those plecos, cool to see sweet colors on something you otherwise get for cleaning purposes (:

  • @McKayla116 So do you have a sump for these bad boys?

  • water is so clear that you think they are dry. also.. i cant beleive its so clean because plecos are SO dirty .. awesome tank.

  • @50CalPaintballSniper omg same thing i thought

  • if u want them bigger add some curent

  • where did you get them and how so biggg

  • Where's all the poop? It's so clean.

  • i thought they ate algae O_O

  • really beautiful fish, but i'd put in some other fish as well

  • @OMGHuygens Some other? and where will put it? Maybe it would be better to do so, but not with all the catfish in there, sry. Originaly its good to have 3 types of fish.. for the ground, middle and upper part of the tank.

And the reason the fish don´t get that big in tanks, is because they are to little!

Not this tank, that´s ok ;) but there are enough fish^^ What i would like to put in here are plants ;) (sry i´m german, my english is not that well)

  • woah thats so cool they would cost a fortune and at first i thought they were only bristle nose in a small tank. lol

  • Don't you get bored?

  • big tank, it loooks nice

  • Which ones get big? What types I mean

  • @GhillieSniper115 usually the panaques get big. But i bought mines when they were alredy big. most were catched from the wild. Raising little ones in the tank to grown up ones like this are very rare and usually don't get this big. However, its noy just panaques that get big. It depends on the family/species and there is over 200 different breeds.

  • @McKayla116 K but wat I really want to know is two things: can the common pleco get big and live long cas I've seen ppl w plecos that they've had for five years and ther over a foot long or close to a foot long

  • Tell me wat u feed the placoes, I've been thinking about doin that myself

  • @GhillieSniper115 I feed them giant carnivorous pellets. But the panaques prefer zucchini. Big plecos don't eat as much and often as the small ones i notice.

  • How much did you bought the plecos for?

    I getting one for Christmas.

  • @aznboiatytube it really depends on which type of pleco u buy and where. i live in thailand so fish here is a lot cheaper than the US. however, common plecos r usually all cheap everywhere.

for a normal, not-so-rare but colorful pleco. the average price i buy mines is about 45$. however, the price does vary with each country

  • @McKayla116 hi im moving in about a week and i have an 7 inch pleco which as never been caught or moved from my tank and i want to know how to properly catch him and what should i put him in during the process of setting up the tank, i have no other smaller tanks so what should i do?

  • @fitbikerider459 What i'd do is get a very huge bucket -1m x 1m is good, since its temporary. buckets are cheap, safe and fish r happy to live in temporarily as long as they are big wide buckets with large bases which can be bought from the supermarket. He is a big pleco, therefore strong. When moving him to a new tank, use the water from the old tank for the big bucket he will be staying in temporarily WITH oxygen bubbles. filtration system is not necessary. catching him shudn't be a problem

  • @fitbikerider459 Have you ever heard of a net?

  • @An3ggPlant1 have you heard of plecos getting fucking caught in nets becuase of their fucking fins dumbass next time read the whole question before answering dumbass and it was a little fucking late so there was no point of that answer

  • @An3ggPlant1 YOUR A FAGET?

  • @fitbikerider459 Ohhh so you're a 9 year old judging by your grammar skills. Impressive.

  • @An3ggPlant oh i ment to say your a fucking faget

  • @fitbikerider459 *Oh, *I, *meant, *you're, *faggot.

  • Wow nice pelcos! Love the gar too!

    Do the plecos ever fight?

I've had some large gibbys get pretty aggressive during feeding.

  • @Foxlarocks No the plecos never fight. They mostly just sit there, most of my panaques rarely ever come out for feeding as often like they do when they're young so they never seem to bother each other.

  • thats amazing

  • wow those are amazing
