It seems like they really tore the house down that night with their awesomeness, if that's possible. Their performances of "Never Stop", "Rescue", and "Do It Clean" (all on Youtube) are phenomenal.
The footage on Youtube of this particular show ("Never Stop", "Rescue", "Do It Clean") is truly amazing. It seems like they really tore the place down with awesomeness that night, if that's possible.
Of Course they use strings...they're Musicians not mindless pretty people chosen by record companies for their looks not their music. Music requires people playing actual instruments not an American Idol with a fucking recording of someone elses music. In my opinion these guys are on par with the Greatest rock n roll bands of all time
This strangely transports me back to a time in my life it was only EVER about the music. For me The Bunnymen have remained true musicians, and Ian McCulloch one of the greatest poets ,way ahead of their time musically.
Going over the plans for the next Red Party with a belly full of Crab Legs and shrimp. More word on The Red very soon. We be very excited lil Doom Kittens! In the meantime you might want to take a gaze over at what the Underworld has in store for you! Busy lil bees we REALLY bees!
New wave was a scene my parents were into when they were young. That's why I know and love this music. I heard this stuff growing up in my childhood. Oh, and a lot of beatles too!! :)
MEASURE BY MEASURE DROP BY DROP!!! I almost forgot how brilliant musically this song was. Puts bands like coldplay and keane (both of whom I like but just aren't on par) to shame.
I will have to unpack my albums/EPs and see. I checked out 'Shine So Hard' on the EB wiki, but the cover does not look like that. I remeber that the EP I have has a blue cover with some kind of stone/ice face in one corner. I'll look it up and see what it is.
And there you have it. The single moment that the 80's shone their brightest.
