No rock star before or since has done songs on this subject matter!! his last album was all about domestic married life!! & no other Rock star had the guts to do that!!
Okay, I been on alot of hate videos. but ima write where Im loved. Who agrees that The Beatles were the greatest most influencial rock band EVER and that John Lennon was a FUCKING GENIUS!!????
It's not about them, it's about him being a househusband and wanting to step out just for a little while. John's life was really just Yoko and Sean. Poor Julian, but that's how it was - although John did say before he died that he wanted to be closer to Julian.

George Martin really deserves to be considered an integral 5th member of the Beatles. Everything John and Paul did after the beatles had solid lyrics, but the lamest, most unexceptional instrumental arrangements, like this crap. Look up "evolution of real love" on youtube. John is playing a version of real love on the piano, to these lyrics, the effect is completely different.
"Strange Days Indeed" is on par with this one dude, theyve both got there similarities in the sense that he's talking about stepping out into the world, but can't believes what he see's hense the title "Strange days indeed" or "nobody told me"... plus i love grow old alone with me
I think there's a video of this where he's in the studio. One of the only proper videos he made alone, though he didn't even get to see MTV. I only saw a piece, but it's somewhere. Yoko must have it!
i love this song because i can identify with this song being the father of 2 boys 20 and 9.

Ever seen Sean Lennon's videos? Julian may have been neglected but he got all the talent genes.

John Lennon was no one to critcize Paul McCartney for writing silly songs. He really topped him with this lame ass, piece of shit.

I think this song is better than nobody told me, but in this album John sold himself, except for Grow old with me".

qué buenas son las canciones que consiguen ese sonido intemporal... stepping out es una de ellas.
Pd.- ¿os recuerda a Mick Jagger en alguna parte de la canción?
