Hi Mike! Thanks for your update. I'll be donating my kidneyto my step-sister in 5 days. I'm excited because I know how much suffering she's endured and how much better she'll feel. I'm a teacher & just started winter break. I will have almost 2 weeks to recover at home before school resumes. Since I just started this new job last month, I really do not want to take any time off though I know I may have to. I was wondering: How did you feel after two weeks? Hope to hear back. Thanks!

You're right, it's hard to find any sort of info in regards to recovery time. I'm going in for surgery soon. They will either take part or all of one kidney (they won't know until they go in).
