yes our military soldiers deserve top rate health care! especially for T.B.I.s because they are here to protect us, willing to die to protect each & every 1 of us!

Nootropics are also pretty good at treating this from a few abstracts i read, check out piracetam. Try to pick out nootropics that aid in plasiticity.
@bpyjktgiuk Are you refering to the technology that interfaces with the brain by means of alternative the frequency the brain operates on, or rather have the user changes their mood very quickly? I think we need to study the way neurons communicate in the labratory more with carbon nanotube interfaces and such to really gain anything out of the pursuit.
Bravo! thank you for bringing attention to this silent epidemic. I am a civilian but have suffered with a TBI after a bicycle accident. I can only imagine the horror of having the symptoms without the understanding of the cause. So often we hear, "Oh, you look just fine!" I've tried to document my experience in "RECLAIMING YOUR LIFE AFTER A TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY"
We continue to work to get government help for our soldiers, most recently asking Secretary of Defense Gates to include cognitive therapy at outside facilities in the Tricare program.
Hello, I suffered a TBI in 1989 and have overcome all my deficients, have received 2 masters degrees but am supported by wife because no one will give me a job or even talk to me. Have wanted to help the wounded soldiers but the
armed services won't take me and neither will the federal gov't as well as state, local, and private agencies, so what is one to do? Help me MR. Woodriff
This administration had not problems sending men and women into harms way, but they delay or deny them the treatment they need once they return. Send Bush and Cheney to the war and see how they like the treatment.
I have TBI after a car accidnt in December. I am a nurse and an administrator of a public health department or at least I was... I have four daughters of which I used to be able to provide abundantly for now I risk loosing my job and possibly not being able to be a nurse.
End the war!

Have you looked at Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy? I am looking for information for my son who also is suffering from TBI or Post Concussion Syndrome.
