The scriptures as a source of wisdom? From a book which condones slavery, stoning non-virgins, unruly teens, and those who work on the sabbath. That book written by ancient, ignorant men is an abomination to logic, reason, and most learned science. What scripture says would really have nothing useful to offer. Deut. 22:18 may be the best advice. Kill a woman who was raped fire not screaming loud enough. If you don't believe it says that, then you are not a good christian.
