The war on drugs is what makes heroin so dangerous. And expensive, it would cost next to nothing if it were legal. What people need to understand is that heroin+hydrocodone(vicodin)+ox ycodone(percocet/oxycontin)+mo rphine+codeine+tramadol(ultram ) are all just different denominations of the same currency. Doctors have gone their entire careers addicted to morphine.
thanks to suboxone i have not used since janurary, nothing big for most, but for me a life of almost one year sober beats any of the hell the last 6 have provided. a lot of people still say im an active addict because of suboxone, i don't think so, people that have a diesese have to take medication everyday, addiction is no different, if it were not for suboxone, i would be using or dead right now
i started off using little things like hydrocodone and vicodine, about 6 months after that neither would get me high nd without it i would be so sick i couldn't work, i switched to oxycontin after that and winded up needing to snort 80mg every morning to properly function at work. once oxycontin found its way into the upper parts of high society with bored house wfies with lots of money, the cost sy rocketed, so i switched to heroin. i'm now in a rehab program using suboxone

@dylon424 I have delt with heroin addiction on and off for over a year now. And I highly agree with you. When I first got into it I had no intention of stopping. Because it has always been such a successful remedy I saw no point in quitting. Different people have different personalities/backrounds and it definitely affects their approach or mindset to heroin. This is why I still struggle with it from time to time. When you're self-medicating it becomes a totally different ball-game.

I'm a heroin addict who has been trying to quit for over a year now, it fucking sucks I cant stay clean for more than a month everytime i go back and continue to fuck my life up and end up worse off than i was before. @eldeuce564 Try suboxone if you haven't yet. There isn't much chance of abuse, yet your cravings will go down dramatically with the right dose. Then, while on the sub, you'll have a chance to get your life back on track without having to deal with awful detox. I know its just a bandaid so to speak, but its much better than struggling forever.
Hate to say it man, but if you want results, you gotta cut off ALL ties. As painful as it may be, if you want to take control of your life its up to you.

It's from pulling back the plunger to make sure you are in the vein, it puts a small amount of blood in the mixture and it's how the needle gets infected with blood borne diseases. Also, many users like to pull the plunger back a second time to make sure they get all the dope.

The war on drugs is what makes heroin so dangerous. And expensive, it would cost next to nothing if it were legal. Quality would be consistent too, thus resulting in far far fewer deaths from overdose, and far less damage to users in general. What people need to understand is that heroin+hydrocodone(vicodin)+ox ycodone(percocet/oxycontin)+mo rphine+codeine+tramadol(ultram ) are all just different denominations of the same currency. Doctors have gone their entire careers addicted to morphine.

thanks to suboxone i have not used since janurary, nothing big for most, but for me a life of almost one year sober beats any of the hell the last 6 have provided. a lot of people still say im an active addict because of suboxone, i don't think so, people that have a diesese have to take medication everyday, addiction is no different, if it were not for suboxone, i would be using or dead right now

i started off using little things like hydrocodone and vicodine, about 6 months after that neither would get me high nd without it i would be so sick i couldn't work, i switched to oxycontin after that and winded up needing to snort 80mg every morning to properly function at work. once oxycontin found its way into the upper parts of high society with bored house wfies with lots of money, the cost sy rocketed, so i switched to heroin. i'm now in a rehab program using suboxone

@dylon424 I have delt with heroin addiction on and off for over a year now. And I highly agree with you. When I first got into it I had no intention of stopping. Because it has always been such a successful remedy I saw no point in quitting. Different people have different personalities/backrounds and it definitely affects their approach or mindset to heroin. This is why I still struggle with it from time to time. When you're self-medicating it becomes a totally different ball-game.

I've tried it maybe 20 times.Mostly snorting then banging it after I got a new,sealed syringe.It was about once a month,so I wouldn't get hooked.I can see why people do.Snorting it was like swimming in warm lead thenleaving your body.Banging it was like being hit over the head.

I'm a heroin addict who has been trying to quit for over a year now, it fucking sucks I cant stay clean for more than a month everytime i go back and continue to fuck my life up and end up worse off than i was before. Its nearly immpossible to describe to someone who isnt an addict what its like to just not be able to stop, especially because of physical dependence.

@eldeuce564 Try suboxone if you haven't yet. There isn't much chance of abuse, yet your cravings will go down dramatically with the right dose. Then, while on the sub, you'll have a chance to get your life back on track without having to deal with awful detox. I know its just a bandaid so to speak, but its much better than struggling forever.

It's from pulling back the plunger to make sure you are in the vein, it puts a small amount of blood in the mixture and it's how the needle gets infected with blood borne diseases. Also, many users like to pull the plunger back a second time to make sure they get all the dope.
