Our language has many persian words because we are half persians indeed! Look, Tajik language has many arabic words too (due to arabic invasion). What happens when persian speaker becomes turkic speaker? However, there is a difference between having some fringe parts of your people in another country, and the main centers of your civilization and history in another country (Samrqand, Bukhara). It is as if Isfahan and Shiraz were in Pakistan, for Iranians. Or Paris is in Germany.

Look, brother. When samarqand abd Bukhara were built there were Persian speaking Sogdians. They were not called Tajiks! Then those sogidans split into two -one preserved persian language and now called Tajiks. Other part who mixed with turks, or were vulnerable to Mongolian invasion accepted Turkic language and now called Uzbeks. So we also have rightful right on these cities!
