Can you tell me how you managed to check the ailerons on the ground whilest taxing without the aircraft moving from side to side?

@thesexualsteve you can either use the joystick (ailerons) to control rudder at the same time using auto rudder or you can turn it off and use the key board or rudder pedals... you can order them (or get your parents too.. not sure how old you are) at many online flight sim stores... if you are serious about learning to fly right, you need rudder pedals.... Saitek makes the best rudder pedals.. even yokes..

I had FSX and FS9 in my computer but took out FSX when I realized my computer didn't run it well. But before I took it out I had put in service pack 1 for it and it turned all of the engine smoke effects on my computer pink. also when there is bad weather some clouds are just a tad greenish. I installed it directly into the FSX folderso I dont know how it could interfere with mt FS9. Also FS9's clouds jump alot more or dont have as good frame rates. This didn't happen before I put FSX in.advice?

I don't know, I think it just had a glitch.. it doesn't do that in FSX.

Well done. Unfortunately in FSX the LOWI ILS beams are mistakenly off from the runway so the only option is VFR

It's not a mistake. FS9 and FSX approaches are correct. The LOC/DME approach is aligned with the valley not the runway. The minimums are a lot higher than normal. There are real IFR approach plates for departure and arrival for LOWI.

The approach I did in this video was done down to published IFR minimums. As the real chart is published.

Oh? Why did they do that? I noticed the chart says LOC/DME but... the profile view still says glideslope indications available between D18.2 and MDA.. so.. maybe there is still a glideslope but they want pilots to back it up with DME readings.

Actually, some of the airport addons do provide AFCADs with ILS/GS/DME to runways that otherwise wouldn't have the full compliment. Just commenting on Lettenbichler's statement. At any rate, VERY nice vid! Love flying that 727 myself :o)
