@Kraskovic I recently bought LS460L. The cheapest car I have ever bought is Acura MDX with full options. Why people would spend more than 35k on a car? I want latest tech, comfort, luxury, and power/speed. And the most importantly, I don't have any problem affording it. I would say it is really worth it, otherwise I wouldn't buy any luxury car.

Really all you should need is an ultrasonic range sensor to tell you if you are about to hit the other car if you can't park don't drive.

BTW I hope they used an sonar or radar based range finder to get the range data on this vs a failure prone optical based system.

If not they'll get sued sooner or later.

Sonar and radar will still work no matter the lighting conditions and even if it's dirty while a camera will not.Even the sun glinting off the other vehicle could mess it up.

actually if you watch some of the other videos cars like this can help you park in ridiculously small spaces. they had one video where the lexus backed up within an inch of the car behind it and then parked itself. sure the feature isn't for everyone but some people love the thing, especially bad parallel parkers.
