  • you can also see my wooden dummy 7 days work cost around 60 $ ;-)

    nice dummy man..

  • Not that I know Bruce Lee, but from his books I have interpreted his philosophy to use anything and everything to advance your training. That which works, use it and make it your own. That which is impractical is discarded. As for insults; No man is without them...and not suffered for them. Be formless and fill the cup. If you know the rest......Be water my friend.

  • I just started working on the iron dummy in my style. It hurts.

  • @theawakener7 Foolish people such as yourself exist to serve an example I suppose.

  • Iron has it s merits over wood in terms of conditioning, which is key, no doubt about that. Still, the noise can be a bit upsetting. Regardless of cost, I think this dummy has a few design flaws. I would have built it with the same shape and form, but in wood, only "bandaging" or "wrapping" the logs and rods in metal. It is something that any blacksmith can do for you, at relatively low cost. I mean, you spent already a small fortune on this (3300 $)!!!

  • @ossian1977 I agree, that doesn't seem like a very complicated solution, and you'd get the same level of conditioning but with less than half of the noise.

  • Wow some of the people commenting are straight up retarded. First off, a wing chun dummy isn't just for close quarter training, one of it's main purposes is to toughen up the arms so that you can break your opponents bones with a block when he strikes, it's the whole principle behind "iron body" training. Secondly, those who say chi is fake are clueless, I've been put down with a light forearm slap from chi, no force used at all yet it was like getting pulled down by 300lbs.

  • Some people make negative comments out of pure ignorance and stupidity. They have no clue about what they are watching when it is actually a much more advanced skill set is being presented. But there is no need to argue with these internet warriors and online gurus, they are just pathetic.

  • @theawakener7 It's got nothing to do with political correctness. Why say chink? There are alot of faceless ignorant people who type stuff on YouTube, so as I have my own mind, I'm just asking a simple question. Also, in mostly southern fist kung fu, using metal is regarded as a next level of conditioning. You HAVE, to have solid foundations and learn about chi before doing this, otherwise you will fuck your self up.

I hate political correctness, positive discrimination & racsim. One love

  • @razorSE15, you say potato and I say potata, if I'm free to speak freely then I can say what I want, chink, chink, chinky, slope, coolee, is that offending you terribly so!? Guess what you'll gegt over it. You don't have to listen to me or read my comments, try fucking ignoring me, my wife does. Chi dosen't exist, it's a fiction. Slamming your arms into metal with passive blocking motions is useless for combat and sadomasochistic. Cult minded retards copy such shite thinking it is of merit.

  • @TalkPwnTV Errr..... OK !

  • @theawakener7 why say chinky? are you simple?

  • @theawakener7 Your students don't hit back, either. You sure talk a lot about how much hard core sparring you do - but you've got maybe 30 secs of you doing light contact TKD with kids and beginners.

  • @theawakener7 do you know why people use "wooden" or "metal" dummies or are you guessing you know?

  • @theawakener7

    "Chinky." Greeeat.

    Keep it classy, theawakener7.

  • @theawakener7 if he can hit a metal pole that hard you dipshit what do you think is gnna happen when he hits your empty skull? srs mindless fuck.. ¬¬

  • @theawakener7 I did not know you are watching gay porn and do martial art at the same time LMAO .HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHHAAHAHHAHAHAAHAH

  • @theawakener7 are you Bruce lee student ? You disrespect him, punk. That guy can kill you, mofo. I think you can not fight cuz you are bitching like a little girl. LMAO.

  • @theawakener7 althou it might seem hes bashing his arms on metal pipes but think about he'll still be doing damage on you even if he was to block one of your punches or even break your arm or knock you out if he did that to your head in other words This guy would proberly or would! defo F you up before you got your first strike in if you where lucky enuf

  • Nice!

  • i dont do wing chun, but im am a mixed martial artist and this is truely amazing, i wish i could do something like this, i wish i had a dummy like this to practice on :/ :(

  • i practise wing chun and i have to say "holy shit" to this. This is brutal, mate. thumbed up.

  • @theawakener7 Chinky? You are entitled to your opinions, friend, but don't you think that was more than a little bit uncalled for? Don't you practice JKD or something? Sobriety, brother. Look into it.

  • @kaptainagent Why don't you look into your local glory hole >:(

  • great video, good to see

  • Sounds like John Bonham on the drums!!!

  • I feel your dummy is very creative and is excellent its like many wooden dummy arts all in one the noise is great and the techniques that you performed are excellent . I have a creative dummy as well that uses 4 ranges of fighting and can be used with weapons . Its a bigger than the wing-chun dummy and great for any style . I have my wooden dummy on you tube as well if you look under Sifu Jack soderberg . My teachers are Grand master Wai lun Choi And Sifu danny inosanto .. Great dummy Sifu

  • Go to a junkyard and make one for free :D .$3,300 for a bunch of pipes? Either this guy is crazy to buy it and the one who sold it to him is the best tradesman ever,or you are not the sharpest knife in the the drawer. As for the dummy it is damn noisy I'm pretty sure this form is trained only by deaf people (no offence to people with hearing problems).Traditional wood Mook Jong is so much better than this...thing.

  • @InsaneAbilities Wood breaks faster than you think. Sorry about your ears. From now on, anybody leaving crap comments are getting removed unless they too have videos of themselves.

  • TO LOUD!!!...my neighbours would kill me!!!...with MuayThai skills :)

  • sht thats loud!...... should make a dummy were 2 people use it and wen one hits one arm on the dummy the oppisite side of the dummy will try to throw a hit to the other guy almost like fighting but since they can throw way more hits at the dummy its like all actions are doubled

  • He has to make sure he used Dit Da Jow, or else years latter, he'll cause damage and contusions to his joints. He's young now, and doesn't see it.

  • OH LAWD!!!! that looks painful lol

  • @thejijjic bet it is at first, but all the while you're getting some kick ass conditioning and the less training you have the faster your arms'll go numb ;)

  • what a fucking noise fuck that

  • @theawakener7 was u on acid when u wrote that? lol

  • i just hope your using ear plugs.

  • Excellent.

  • whey.....hong family win

  • Yes, my teacher trained with Master Ch'en in 1983 and 1984.

  • This method is based on the teachings of the late master C.Y. Ch'en from Nantou county.

  • MA CHE 6 UN BATTERISTA???

    HAHAHAHAHA

  • nice dummy work, thats takes a lot of conditioning and practice

  • It needs someething to make it quiet..My neighbors would get pissed if I worked out for an hour on that thing O.o

  • i could have made it for much cheaper...he got ripped of by the local devil this time lol

  • woooow thats amazingly fast. arm must hurt after it xD

  • you have to spend a lot of money for makeone of this :?

    from italy

  • He Spent $60,000 New Taiwan dollars ten years ago to have it built in Taipei. Nowadays, it would probably cost around NT$100,000. That's roughly US$3,300. Probably more in Italy but not sure.

  • @kaptainagent dude thats crazy i can build that for under 500 bucks....easy.

  • @kaptainagent pfff dam thats too expensive y not make things yourself like i did its weyyy cheaper just saying but this is what people did when they could not afford equipment

  • @markohu it's not a complex structure, rather very simple, if you have the right tools, example, good drill and metal boring bit, good saw with metal cutting blades, you can build one yourself for very cheap, probably less than $100.00 USD.

  • Whaaaaaaaaaa
