  • oh how i love to read all the no-it-all comments haha seriously though, you guys are doing great and its good to see you have the courage to get on those horses cause unlike these other people i dont care to admit that i would be shaking if i got on that horse and saw what he could do!

  • Song. So. Annoying. Thats sweet though

  • oh but i guess poeple wont want her cuz im sure those people wanted their horses broken not tamed so nevermind, she doesnt break horses she trains them an gains their love and trust and yeah if she does that then the horse is gonna spook some times and its gonna buck sometimes but every horse has bad days

  • my friend could fix all those horses, and the first time she got on their back they wouldnt buck at all (well unless they have more wild in them than a Wild Mustang that was catputred in the wild and brought strart to her. The first day the lil girl charged at her about 4 times and was really trying to kill her cuz she was scared and pissed cuz there was some rope around her face.)

  • dang ur sticky

  • that is not a way to break a damn horse you idiots!! that horse is scared to death!

  • its amazing what happens when you finally put down the whips and take off your spurs...

  • i break colts for living 15 years and still goin... this a sweet way to get them goin... good riding..

  • im just wondering it the whip neeeded? i only use one when im lungeing or doing natural horsemanship?

  • great job, you make it look easy to hang on! i love it where you flipped off the horse as he walked into the corral!

  • those horses arent wild.. lol that bay is a trick horse, he had a whip and evey time he would whip the horse would rear

  • I break all my 'handfuls' in a rope halter, but i dont know the story here, love love love that its set to cyprus hill! keep doing your thing i know its hard enough already without hearing junk from a bunch of people who dont understand the horses mind and the realities of the horse economy.

  • I felt sick watching this video. There are other methods how to 'break' a horse and this for sure can not be called rehabilitating. What use is an animal that has been broken with so much force? Get a car if you need to get somewhere. Horses are by far more than just a device, they are supposed to be our friends. And in the end trust and love will never come through force..

    There are other methods.

  • Just a thought... This might go better if you didnt carry a whip in your hand... With it your asking for problems by presenting yourself as a predictor.

  • the rider in this video has excellent balance.

  • very nice work guys.(:

  • I personally like this video -- was very impressed with the rider - good seat - good hands - - I kept noticing as the horse was rearing - the guy had his reins slack - had great upper body control.

  • looks good, finally found someone who can help me, ive recently started breakin horses just learrnin from old cowboys, and im pretty good i guess, but i have one that will not stop rearing up just like the one in the video ive tried everything, like smashin a water balloon on his head to tie downs, but nothin works, any advice, greatly appreciated..

  • @shanestercntry33 any videos of him doing it? Is he sucking up and rearing.g when your asking for forward movement? What exactly is he doing and when? And also is he going over backwards or just rearing?

  • @shanestercntry33 Try loads of ground work. Kinda boring but it really does help in the end

  • Great video... shows just how much problems horses have with people problems.. Peoples behavior (the way you are inside) shows in your horse!!

  • Sometimes you can't love'em up. You just gotta ride it out!

  • With these horses, it looks like there's two options: have these people break them to where they're good, rideable mounts or take them to the slaughter house. I kind of like their method the best.

  • I think Ive commented on this video before.... anyway. These look like horses that have formed bad habits from inexperienced horse people. Like if a horse, like the bay, thinks he can get away from the hack more pressure by rearing and acting a fool, then that is probably how he got away with it last time by people who said awww, it is hurting him. Now he has a bad habit that these people took care of. IF you have never dealt with one of those horses then don't comment.

  • good job you guys

  • more balls than i got dudes.. i got bucked today at almost full gallop.. and sprained my rist and got skint up a lil.. but i jus cant get over tha fear of a bucking horse lol... but i got right back up after a small quick pop to the neck lol. but no harm no foul

  • ok they were prob doing that cuz u had a lounging whip

  • @hanna52901 Er no, firstly, I think you mean dressage whip, as a lunging whip is nearly two metres long. Second as the description says, the horse doing that because it's learned that they can get the rider off and do no work. Don't you think that if the problem was the whip, the owner would have just stopped using a whip and saved 450 - 600 dollars for a months training?

  • I love the part between 1:00-1:04. Awesome! ;)

Really guys don't hate on them I didn't see any abusive riding techniques. They are doing just what any horseman would do when a horse acts up, pulling the head up so he can't buck as hard, and slacking up when the horses reared. I saw great riders here. Skilled riders. I have rode some outlaws before and sometimes you can't solve the problems just from the ground you just have to cowboy up, get on and ride 'em out. They are helping these horses!

  • YEah not the right way, if the horse wasnt broke,if it was and doing tati can see...

  • this is amazing!

  • So what if they whack the horse a couple of times with a crop? Those horses could have put hundreds of people in the hospital. And you're worried about him getting a couple of knots in his butt from some well deserved smacks? Give me a break.....

  • By what methods? Abuse? So says that long, white stick you were carrying whilst on the bay horse's back. Guys, I wouldn't trust these people. Even in the "after" shots, that horse didn't look right. However, if you wish to defend this video, at least tell me what kind of methods you plan on using. Good horsemen don't keep their work secret.

  • please contact me back i really ment call me back at 3 the next day lol

  • i want you to break my horse he a a mustang about 7 yrs ol been broke b4 butu left alone and acts crazy he is green broke could you help me or tell me what i ned to do give me a call at318-305-5709

  • Maybe a helment, LOL

  • @Triskal

I absolutely agree. My mustang was started very softly and his training only went as fast as he could. Mustangs are amazing horses and giving them a bad label is completely unfair.

  • hahaha I like how you can tell a gelding from a mare when your breaking a horse. Geldings fight from the front and mares from the back :) Great Job guys. Way to use a hack. Bits are DANGEROUS on a horse that is mouth sour.

  • that guy has alot of guts to be on a horse like that... wow great job!

  • obviously non of you commenters below kno how to break horses.. cuz wen a horse is bein like that there is no way other than to pull on their mouth.. wen a horse is bucking you keep his head up so he dont buck too hard and that helps to get him to stop bucking.. all of u need to shut up and leave these people alone. You guys did an awesome job with those horses :) thank you for sharing your video

  • You guys look great! Keep up the good work, ^^

  • I'm wondering what kind of method they're using here.. I bet it's not gaining respect and trust from the ground, just jumping on the back and being rough.

  • @GoatBlaat All this video is showing is before and after, not in between. So how do you know that they aren't doing anything but "jumping on the back and being rough" as you called it.

  • @AppyArt Oh well, maybe they just did that, maybe not. I guess I'll be in the row for the 'average Youtubers' then, since I probably made a stupid comment.

  • Wow! amazing work :)

  • k im pretty sure all you nay-sayers should just be quiet, these people arent doing anything wrong, if your horse was doing those things to you, youd pull on their mouth too, everyone would, no matter how gentle they think they are. theyre doing these horses a favor, theyre rehabilitating these horses. so unless you want to start taking in these horses, and attempting to rehabilitate them your way, you should probly just stop commenting.

  • @macysmerrikiplady i will just send me a troubled horse and ill fix it and way cheaper then these dummies

  • your doing a very good job, u need the fairly strong bit to have control and keep their heads up so they cant buck. the only way ur going to get a bucking horse to give up and quieten down is to lunge it hard for a good time, and then ride the buck out of it and work it regularly. these horses have a habit of bucking at they seem to think if they keep bucking then eventually they'l get us off, by these men riding them and stayin on they are giving up coz they know they aint gunna get them off.

  • no way would i send a horse to u.!

  • 3 word-creul and u need 2 gentle horses so that they no that u love them not 2 make thim scared of u (if i could i would sue u for animal creulty)

  • @busterdoghorselover If I could I would throw a dictionary at you and tell you to learn. These people are taking in horses that their owners feel are wild/dangerous. They don't have time to do Parelli or go from the ground up. Time is money in this kind of business. They don't need the horse to know that "they love it" because it's not their horse. They are doing what they are hired to do--break an outlaw.

  • @unavailabletoyu well, I don't think you have had horses let alone been alive as long as I have, and I have had horses from the day I was born to now... I know that people in that kind of business RUIN horses. They take em, beat em, treat em bad, then one day that horses says it's over, and his soul has left, but his physical body is left for people to aimlessly throw.

  • Nice job guys, your website wouldn't work i want to find more out about ya, can you send me some info?

  • @MyTeddyBearxo yes, try the new one

    psrcasadeloscharros.webs.com

  • Yall were makin that bay horse do all of that crap!!!

  • WTF IS THIS STUPID MUSIC?

  • Amazing seat, and amazing PATIENCE. You can tell that you remained calm, NON-violent while the horse was working out his fears / anger underneath you.

    Good work!

  • awsome video :) to bad yall aren't closer to me , i have a 6 yr old paint mare thats never been backed that could use someone like yall!

  • :/ thats a hackamore.

  • Uhh yeah, and how long are the shanks on that hackamore?

  • And wheres the chin strap? Oh riight. There is none. (Which basically gives no leverage over this horse.) What a harrrsh (insert sarcasim here) hackamore! Learn something about horses before you mouth off. What a jackass!

  • @provenspots I DO see a chin strap. If there wasn't a chin strap, the noseband wouldn't be sitting in place. At least her hands are quiet. Even for a crazy horses there are MUCH better ways to "train" them than to be "in their mouths" and holding the horse down constently like this rider is.

  • @obscuredmelody a hackamore can be more aggressive than a bit with long shanks!

  • @toritotuti

If you read the comments it is a hackamore + long shanks. So your point is?

  • @obscuredmelody i should have been more concise... it doesn't matter what you put on horse, it it how you use it. my point was that i don't see anything cruel being done here.

  • @toritotuti I ride on a hackamore. there are three main types that I am aware of, the one with the wide band is pretty much useless for any controll the one with the narrow "wire" is ignorant and dangerous the rawhide one is a nice balance. and you are 100% right with a hackamore I can shut off the horses breathing with the thin one I can do permanent damage. people don't understand what bits hackamores and other tack do to the horse. good comment.

  • @toritotuti There is alot of grey area around that statement. You can rip a horse's cheeks and bars with a bit, along with cut their tongue. But with a steel hack you can break a horse's nose. A hack or a bit can be harmful in the wrong hands. It all depends on what and how your using it.

  • @toritotuti I use a hackamore and it saved me alot of trouble. It was like magic. My horse is even happier with it.:]

  • that guy has an amazing seat on that horse
