  • i want to play this but i can't :( i am such a amateur. beautiful song and you played really good!

  • i love Debussy, you play this so beautifully, you play with such emotion, thank you x

  • that sounded exactly like i thought this piece should sound. I don't play piano but all the interpretations of this that i have listened to so far didn't sound quite right, they sounded rushed in places and far too slow in others as if they were just dragging their heels just for the sake of trying to make it theirs. What you did was listened to the feel of the music and this shows in the way you play it. Well done mate x

  • I love this song, debussy is amazing

  • I actually like the D flat at the end! Makes perfect sense, and barely noticeable. Very nicely played :)

  • ...it´s love...very thanks;)

  • Wow amazing Thank you for uploading

  • You most definitely have a musical talent which I bet you know by now, but to be completly frank with you I did not agree with you interpretation of the stanzas 49 and 50, mostly because you smash down on the high notes which sounds like you are playing a polyphonic piece by Bach and the high E's and B flats are a completly different voice. The hard sound they produce is also uncharacteristic with the "dreamy flow" of the piece. Very well played though C:

  • Bravo!

  • Wow. I am learning this song now and wow... I loved the way you played it. Debussy would be proud. Thanks for uploading.

  • I'm so jealous of your beautiful playing and extra long fingers (i can play no further than an octave).

  • My fingers aren't really that long. I can stretch to a 10th, but I am not a Van Cliburn, unfortunately.

  • Satan, I'm afraid I'm of the Ravel "It suffices merely to play it" school. Too much expression makes my teeth hurt. I admit that I do rush a few parts here, and I would dearly like a better piano, but other than that I am fairly satisfied with the interpretation. I don't aspire to be Lang Lang.

  • Very good technique, I like it...some advice though, next time try expressing yourself through the music. Keep with it!

  • @satanwrotethebible Well in reference to this video that is the most pointless comment ever, I'd be surprised if you play the piano if you can't tell expressionate performing from a straight forward recital of the notes...

  • Well done sir. You put your own twist to a beautiful piece. That is what its all about for us. Good job and well played.

  • tom8a, pardon me for not bowing to the greater wisdom of a poster who begins his subtle critique with "what the f***." I think I will leave your comment up, however, as a sign I am on the right track.

  • WHAT THE F*** YOU PUT A D FLAT IN ON THE END, THAT'S NOT PART OF THE SONG. WAY TO RUIN IT.

  • beautifully played!!!

  • awesome!
