I played the threads out off this whole album in 1980. His tone and use of the wah wah pedal are really evident in this song. Trower makes it obvious that it's not how many notes you play but the feeling and energy you put into the notes. This guy really absorbed black music, especially via the influence of Jimi Hendrix. His sound is very real.

I've got this one cover version in my ear right now, a little more modern, with a heavier guitar setup...but I can't for the life of me remember who it was.
