If you plan on using the chalk markers I would suggest using a mirror or the ink in the markers will soak into the wood (since it's porous) and it will stain it and you will never be able to wipe it off. Either way, great tut! ^^

OH MY GOSH, I DIDN'T KNOW WHIPPLE CREAM WAS IN THE US! so glad i watched this, thanks for the tutorial, I'd luv to make a chalkboard for my kitchen! In that case, i'll use magnets so it can stick to the fridge, but like the velcro, you can put magnets on anything, and get decorative magnets to put on there. Just spreading the love :)
