Master Replica and Hasbro Obi Wan force fx lightsabers comparison

On the master replicas obi wan rots lightsaber when you punch out with it

it makes the extra clashing sound does the hasbro version do this?

@Dashman408 The removable blade is a newer thing, and I believe only the Hasbro blade has it, although with some work many people have removed the MR blade to put a brighter LED display on

Hi tondobince. My son has the MR saber, and it's missing the end pommel and battery pack (you take them both off in this vid). We found a replacement, but it's Hasbro. Are they interchangeable?

Can i remove the blade ? To only have the hilt, because my blade for the light saber is a bit damaged .

I think the blades of the MR sabers is actually a lot brighter than the Hasbro ones. In comparison, my MR Vader ep. 5 saber is not only brighter than the the Hasbro one, but it is also significantly louder. Albeit, not as sensitive when clashed, it is a lot more sensitive when it comes to making the lighsaber movement sounds. My Hasbro one needs a few turns and jiggles before it makes that famous "whoosh."

They're both the same except hasbro one is bigger. I took of the stickers of the hasbro one I have to make it look better..

the only difference i see is that the mr is.......glossy while the Hasbro is a little less and chubbier lolz, seriously tho, it looks chubby in this vid. however, both are okay, and they still rock! woot!

Nice review. I have a few MR FX 'sabers, and was curious about how the Hasbro ones compare.

One thing I noticed was that the Hasbro one looks like the "blade" is more sensitive to touch than the MR one, is that the case?

I know that my MR ones need a pretty good whack before it makes a sound.

no worries mate... in answer to ur question.. yes it is.. the hasbro seems to be more sensitive than the MR as u can see from the video i have to hit it a tad bit harder but still responds well

They were both made in the same factory anyway just with slightly different components.

ALL these sabres are cool and get this.......I have a Vader ANH sabre and I here David Prowse is doing the rounds in my area, so fingers crossed I could end up with a SIGNED BY VADER vader lightsabre.

hey i like both saber i have had possesion of both of these lightsabers, i like the mr look more chrome on it but i love the hasbro weight and solid blade color the only problem with hasbro is the AAA batteries but if the handle is smaller and lighter id rather go with that, hasbro is not that bad but MR still started it, so props to them
