Islam acknowledges all the profets, example : the torah in it's original form (as sent down to moses by God) was indeed the will of God. The Quran in my opinion is more boring and I can't get much out of it. The Bible on the other hand has stories with morals and many important information on how to live life.

Second of all, the Qur'an may not have been compiled ALL in book form, but scribes wrote down the revelation, not to mention oral tradition was right on, spot on during their time. @Factszz Something very important is missing in the Quaran: blood atonement. The Hebrews were commanded to sacrifice an unblemished lamb during the Day of Atonement. The lamb was a symbol of the pure dying for the impure. Jesus was often referred to as the Lamb of God. As God's Son He was deemed worthy to be the final blood atonement for the sins of the world. Animal sacrifice is no longer necessary. Have your sins been washed away by the blood of the Lamb of God? Or do you remain in your sins?

An other word of Quran is "Rafa or Rafa'ana" that majority of blind followers translate it as " Jesus was Lifted to heavens with Mortal Physical Body". This is absolutely a blunder. A good student of Quran knows well that the word "Rafa" is used many times in Quran & its meaning is always spiritual exaltation / Exaltation in ranks and never to lift some one physically. God so loved the world (including unbelievers) He gave His only begotten Son. Allah hates unbelievers and that can certainly be seen in the bombings by Muslims of anybody who isn't a Muslm, whether Christain, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, etc. There's more crazy people per capita in the Muslim world than anywhere else on earth.

There is nothing that can compare to the indescribable love and freedom one experiences upon receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit. Salvation as a free gift of God, inspires one to better their lives and live for God without the fear of losing one's redemption. Suicide bombers are Muslims who know they fall short of salvation, so martyrdom is the only way to attain it.

How many hundreds have been killed since the incident in Norway. We in the West are shocked because such things are rare. But not in the Middle East. Day after day after day: 10, 20 or 100's are killed to the point that most living in that part of the world have become desensitized to it.

The name still refers to a person, later a tribe/people. The action of which of which the best of them performed is called, islam (submission to the will of God). Therefore every one that submits him self to the will of God is a muslim.

Even if you view yourself as Jew or Christian. You should Fear your creator, and you should be on the search for his will, and submitt to it, God's will is both in the Torah and the bible, however these sources has been corrupted, especially the bible.
God's pure will is now only found in the Quran which has not been altered.

Hahah, you are blind.You didn't even understand a single word that I said. Jesus, Noah, Abraham, Moses etc NEVER proclaimed themselves Jews or Christians that is indeed a terminology invented by humans.
These were all great ones submitting to the will of Allah (GOD), call it what you want , but that's what they did. Therefore it is not wrong to call these People Muslims.
Islam means submitting yourself to GOD. It isn't just a random name.

@xXGhgBXx , the bsais is my friend, that Islam means submission to the will of Allah (God (there is only one God). Jesus did indeed submit to the will of Allah. Therefore he was a Muslim. As Islam means submission to the will of Allah, it can indeed exist before the creation of the Quran, and of course it did.
Moses never called himself a jew, (judaism was a terminology invented by man later on)
Jesus never called himself a christian as this terminology was invented by humans later on.

@Alex2971, All the profets did indeed submit to the will of Allah (only Allah doesn't make mistakes) and so they were muslims. Islam acknowledges all the profets, example : the torah in it's original form (as sent down to moses by God) was indeed the will of God. As Islam means, submission to the will of God, offcourse Moses was a muslim. We must not limit the associations we have of Islam to the arabic culture. Islam is for everyone. this is were we get confused. Religion is not culture.

well, for all my non muslim brothers who still deny this. Zakir naik clearly qouted a verse of Quran which said that there will be people who will not accept Allah even after they get all the signs such people are deaf, dumb and blind and surely a punishment is awaiting them... so all people should first analyse and I am pretty sure u ll agree with what Quran's miracle is.. it will be just ur egos which will prejudice ur decision and u ll end up making a wrong decision
