i would much rather wait another 5 years for the next gen Xbox, if they release a new xbox in the next couple years there wont be a huge jump in graphics. it might come close to compare with pc graphics but we would be paying a ridiculous amount of money for it. the 3 core processors in the 360 and ps3 are definitely out dated but i think people should be patient and let developers come up with some amazing game engines and not try and rush them

I don't see any reason whatsoever to start new generation of consoles...some multiplatform games designed strictly for pc and then ported to consoles do tend to look/work way worse than on pc but that's because of bad porting. Both consoles r having their peak times atm with developers knowing how to code games/apps/etc. What would u expect from next gen consoles?? There won't be any graphical/quality jump like it was between previous gen and current gen (ps2 -> ps3 / xbox -> 360).

Microsoft has been fuckin up for a lil while now, and theyre just starting to get their act together. Windows 8, Kinect and Windows Phone 7 are the beginning of a new revitalized company. Idk who did it,maybe Balmer, but something or someone has breathed new life into M$.

The point of this conference was to show that, and I think they succeeded.

M$ is stepping their game up right now. Everything they're doing is awesome. Kinect, those phones, Xbox, freakin WINNING!

I don't understand why ppl are demanding the start of a new console generation right now. It's kinda frustrating to be honest. The Xbox 360 and PS3 are in their prime. Skyrim, Uncharted 3 and Halo Reach are AMAZING games. Still to come is Mass Effect 3, Halo 4 and possibly even GTAV!

To release new consoles right now or even announce too much information will only undercut the current gens. If lil ol' grandma hears Xbox 720 and PS4 are both coming out soon then wtf is she gunna buy a 360 or PS3?

Halo 4 is being released at december 2012 and why would they release a game like that on a new system when most people won't have it any they will lose a whole lot of profit by not releasing that game on xbox 360. Xbox 720 will be probably released 2013-2014 when Wii U starts creating games of the next generation.
