To clear it up guys. Harmonix made Guitar Hero 1 and Guitar Hero 2 (best gh in my opinion) then partnered with Viacom and EA to make Rock Band 1 and 2 and Beatles. Red Octane makes the other guitar heroes with Activision. The only good GH after Harmonix stopped making 'em is GH: Metallica IMHO.

Honestly, you all need to quit comparing SoB to SoaD. They are two different bands, now. Each have their own style. You don't see people complaining about how Metallica is so different from MegaDeth, now do you? Haha. But in all honesty, we've all come to the conclusion that SoaD needs to come back together. Yeah, but I feel like listeners are so conditioned that when someone picks up an electric guitar, the artist is obligated all of a sudden to perform fancy tricks and complicated riffs.
