WOW is all I have to say about this video...I bought the ninja and it is a GREAT product! This guy didn't do very good on this video. I hate how he pulses every time...you need to pulse a few times in the beginning and thats it.

Manual recommends pulses be no more than 15 seconds long. Had mine for a month so far and it's great. Cost me $40. but it's way better than any generic blender.

Not sure if it can handle an ipod touch though.

after watching this review, i bought a ninja master prep at walmart for about $40. i've had it for about a month now, used it probably 20 times at least, and it's fantastic. i love it. you definitely get a lot more bang for your buck with this machine than with a regular blender or the magic bullet. my ONLY complaint is that the food processor cup is small and for something like for instance coleslaw, you have to work in batches. so, i pull out my regular sized food processor for jobs like that.

I got one of these for a christmas present and oh my god! It makes smoothies and milkshakes soooo much better than a blender. Though mine did come with 2 of the 2 cup processor cups instead of one and is black.

my mom has this, and we love it, she always says ninja like it does in the commercial, AND IT GROUNDS BEEF, anyway we made salsa with it, and the salsa turned into mush because my mom did, about three pulses over and i was like "HEY, thats enough, no really, your turning it into mush, and it is mush" but i love this blender.

Not a bad demo...but the pulses this guy is doing are just not long enough. To make creamy smooth foods the power pod can and should be held down for 20 to 30 seconds at a time with momentary rests in between until the food is as smooth as preferred. The initial short pulses are to get things started then doing 20 to 30 seconds of blending would have made this guacamole very smooth. Check the timing on the pulses this guy is doing...they're only about 2 to 3 seconds tops...good for salsa.

If you hold the button down your concoction will flow too far to the top. It may overflow and leak out, I'm not sure as I've avoided doing that. I do know that the exposed part of the motor will get slightly stained if you hold it down and the food reaches it's level. It's easy to wipe the motor clean if this happens but why not simply avoid it? Plus pulsing let's you see how blended it is.

This is a great machine. It's much better than any blender I've ever used.

Hey, if the small one is too small you've got the bigger one included. The big one isn't just for smoothies. You can make a shit load of guacamole with it too.

Thanks for this review! I've never heard about this product until suddenly seeing it in a few stores and online. Since I'm currently in the market for a decent small food processor I can get this with a nice blender as well. You've convinced me to buy it! Thanks again!

Best machine i've ever bought great for all types of smoothies which I do almost everynight and for chopping onions three pulses is all I need to chop perfect sized onion for sauteing I highly recommended it baught one for my mom she's puerto rican and makes sofrito once a month but huge amounts so she loves it for that. And the snow it makes with the ice perfect for piraguas can't talk enough on how great this machine is.

I just purchased mine at Sam's club was $40.00 and it came with 3 of the small bowls. I made a frozen coffee drink in it and I loved it, chopped the ice very well. And tonight we made orange julius drinks great.

Good luck getting your Ninja. I ordered mine December the 15th, gee it is already January 15th, only a month has gone by. Oh I found out UPS sent it to California, where a Ramond accepted my Ninja.I live in New Mexico. I have emailed the company and no response. I guess I paid for the video and the ninja is another charge. I am filing a complaint if they wait much longer, BBB, scam alert, and the works.

UPS is so big they think nothing can influence them. I suggest all the dissatisfied customers file a class action law suit. I would imagine a 20 Billion Dollar class action suit would get their attention. Especially if the general public stopped using them. They need to get in touch with the people again they have got to big and don't care about people, just big business. Let me know if a class action happens, I want in on it.

There are a few things on the design that will need to be fixed/changed.

1. Better gear material, preferably metal

2. Size of the small container, needs to be larger.

3. The motor is slippery to hold specially w/ small; needs to be more ergonomic.

The pulsing action is great! Also, u CAN hold it down 4 a minute or so AFTER pulsing if u want puree. I ONLY WISH THE CONTAINERS WERE UP 2 T QUALITY OF T BLADES & THE MOTOR! MAYBE EURO-PRO/NINJA CAN MAKE A

After parties worth of use I had to return mine for a new one at Target. The cheap white plastic that holds onto the grey plastic gear at the top of the blade shaft melts! Do what he does and pulse slowly, waiting in between. Wish one of the most important parts wasn't made of plastic. You get what you pay for! It was great the first two tries! Let's see what happens to my new one.

Yea the nylon is just made to destroy itself, especially with a top motor which is even more prone to coming separated during use. The pulsing is only part practical, I think it is a clever marketing trick to keep you from burning their cheap cheap motor within the warranty period. basically they've sold people on babying their cheap poorly cooled motor...pretty funny.

@omgwtfbbqstfu No, the pulsing is so you don't turn your vegetables or whatever you are mincing into mush. This is a very powerful machine and the blades chop so quickly you HAVE to pulse. This device is for blending, not chopping, unless you are mincing because it will mince onions, peppers and garlic in a couple of seconds. The motor is NOT cheap. It's very strong. I've had two of these over 5 years. The first version only had 2 blades, so I later bought the 3 bladed version.

I'm 60, widower and I am a former professional cook so I know good products. If you cook a lot and hate mincing garlic, onions, peppers, carrots, celery or any vegetable, for this reason alone, you should get a Ninja. That's not even considering it's capabilities as a blender.

DO NOT PURCHASE TRHIS PRODUCT! Why? Even tho its a good concept - the plastic grooves on the bottom of the motor that attaches to the blades hollows out and won't turn the blades after a short period of use. The company will replace the motors but takes 2-3 weeks to recieve so you get 1-2 weeks use then wait 2-3 weeks for new ones. GL

Great review. My Kitchen Aid blender is on its last legs and I was looking for a replacement.  I just got my Ninja from QVC and it does everything that was promised. Great Margarita! The price was right and it came with 2 extra containers. This will be great for parties. Can't wait to experiment with it. I just LOVE kitchen gadgets!

Honestly, I haven't seen a motorized chopping product where the actual motorized piece does get itself dirty and needs to be washed. They all seem so stay clean, even the Magic Tur- I mean Bullet.

But yeah, that product looks pretty solid.

@chavitavb Not exactly a video review but about the gt express: got one - love it - makes the best omelettes ever and a very good low carb brownie . It's also great for warming leftovers if you don't like using a microwave . I make a low carb version of bisquick "impossible pie" in it that hubby loves.
