  • Cool Layout! What controller do you use?

  • @TheWarden6 I use a lenz controller

  • No disrespect to you, Your layout is great but the trains are running on the wrong lines. as you look at the tracks the right is for running towards you and the left is for running away from you. Sorry but i am a bit of a perfectionist. After all it is your layout. Sorry if i have offended you in anyway!

  • @shade19752000 No worries, I may change that as it was somthing I never bothered looking into.

  • Will u get a emu loco for your layout

  • @Liverpoolfcfever At the moment there are no plans for one as I have no live rail or catenary.

  • Hi there

I have a question for you. I am after an intercity train and I am torn between the 47 and 37. You have both so if you had to choose one or the other to buy which one would you choose. And can you explain why.

    Thanks perry.

  • @pjlb2903 I prefer the 47 because the 37 has the stripe positioned slightly to high on the bodyside so it doesn't quite line up with the coaches. Other than that, they are brillant locos.

  • @EverardJunction - that is a superb layout you have mate n your locos are really good too :-)

  • @Class66Rocks Thanks

  • Great Layout, has your layout always been DCC, or have you converted it?

  • @StrettonJunction Thanks, the layout has allways been dcc and uses a lenz system.

  • I watched this video again and I relised the intro is from Simcity 4!

  • @2009Buzza ha ha, well spotted

  • Hi mate Its starting to look really well , good work keep it up!!! loving your latest 37!!!

  • @hornbachhh Thanks mate, I'm very pleased with the 37. I'm looking forward to the new railfrieght red stripe one.

  • Love the layout, i've got you on all the time to help me through building my layout at the moment, just a few questions if you can help me out!!!!!! the retaining walls that you've added where did you get them from?because i'm desperate to find some, i've looked at tencommadments but not sure about them, also out side the peco shed is that plastic card that you've laid down around the track? i'd like to do something similar but also inside the shed have peco inspection pits bedded in. cheers mark

  • @indierebal25 The retaining walls are made by ratio and sold on gaugemasters website. The concrete around the shed is polyfilla painted grey. Inbetween the rails I have used plasticard painted the same colour.

  • two words = love it

  • @gunnerman1100 Thanks

  • @EverardJunction

your very welcome if i had the space and money(unemployed so i have the time part lol) i'd love something like that. One question though on one of the TMD i think its called you have a lenght of polyfiller(concrete) running ontop on the sleepers how did you manage to do that ? really good job :)

  • @gunnerman1100 The bit between the two rails isnt polyfilla. I have used plasticard cut to shape and painted the same colour. This avoids any problems that might happen

  • @EverardJunction

    nice idea

  • Quality as usual shed /mpd looks good . Is the class 108 dmu from Bachmann ?

  • @REGWARNE12 Both of my 108s are bachmann. One is about 3 years old and has had very heavy use, it still runs perfectly.

  • Nice steady filming with good lighting. Well done and thanks.

  • yeah the wind has been bad down here lately.i havnt been in the shed since before xmas as ive been sorting out the garden ready to make the layout larger,so wanted to get a new loco as an excuse to have a quick play on the layout.

  • well i ordered my class 26 from attons on monday and it still hasnt arrived yet!

  • @bloodmarine77 It might come tomorrow, I find hattons take about 4 days to deliver something. Then again the van carrying it could have be blown away by the latest bad weather.

  • New shed and lighting looks great. Super layout. Nice one!!!

  • @rubikclockweights Cheers mate

  • GREAT

  • @2009Buzza Thanks

  • Another great vid EJ. Heljan's 58 is a cracking loco and I managed to get Mainline Grey 58009 for £50 brand new. That was nearly two years ago from Hattons absolute value.

  • @60026to You got a great deal there. I wanted redstripe livery, but i didn't want 58001 so i had to shop around abit.

  • great, heljans 58 look good, i got to pay £80 to get the ews i want

  • @itgamer100 Yeah it runs very well and looks good, but it does cost a bit. I'm going to to focus on scenery for a while now.

  • @EverardJunction just what i have been force to do!!!, BTW, do you think a hornby InterCity class 87 will make a good rail tour loco for a modem image layout

  • The layout and the rolling stock are all looking fantastic - inspirational stuff!

  • @Mooresbytube1 Thanks mate

  • i wos looking at getting a heljan 58but ive just purchased another class 26 in the same livery as your 58.im just waiting for it to be delivered via hattons.i do like heljan models, they have alot of detail and like you said they run very well.how much did you pay for the 58 out of interest?

  • @bloodmarine77 You can expect to pay about £70, mine cost £80 because i wanted a specific one so i had to find shops that had in stock.

  • 5***s the layout is looking good now. i like the class 58 is it new

  • @jaannetts16 Thanks, the 58 is new

  • Really great filming. Its about time someone put up some good shots. Layout and running of the trains really excel.

  • @gower2880 Thanks, i run my trains all the time.

  • Turning into a superb layout mate.

  • @percomotion Thanks, i can start adding some finer detail now

  • A great video once again.the tmd is looking good now.i also like the 58 in that livery,is it an heljan model?

  • @bloodmarine77 Thanks, the 58 is heljan and I can't believe how well it runs. The only issue with it is that the radiator grills and wheels need to be painted black, which i've done. If you look at a real pic of one you will see what I mean. Other than that it is a fantastic model and I would highly recommend it.

  • wow! Nice editing!!!

will their be a review of the class 58?

Is this allright?, but ive got a few video requests...

Could you do a review of the class 58?

Could you do a vid on the super detailing?

    Many Thanks, Greatly Appreciated!-eanat11

  • @eanat11 I can do a vid on the 58, but i've already super detailed it so that will have to wait until i get another loco. Thanks

  • @EverardJunction ok thanks!!!!

    PS.Great channel & vids!

  • Fantastic video! layout looking good.

  • @tpe18509 Thanks mate

  • Nice some great footage there :)

  • @ApacheBravo Thanks mate

  • hummmmmm.. a 58 not bad choice but to me they look like two 20's nose to nose

  • @5029tom It does abit, i always liked the shape. I hope to get some 20s one day

  • @BlueberryJunction Cheers, I use sony vegas to create my videos.

  • thanks ,cool vid i will be starting my1st proper layout soon cant wait !

  • @thebarrettgod Thanks, i'll have a look

  • looking bloody brill keep it up my loft is now nearly ish ready to start building the railway weyy weyy lol

  • @pyronathanpyro Thanks, one of the best parts of model railway building is when you lay that first piece of track.

  • @EverardJunction yeah cant wait

  • Great video. Could you do a video on the deltic you have please. I like the detail by engine shed. Also I have started to ballast on my model railway with the technique in your other video. :)
