What you are calling the "1965 Shelby Cobra 289 FIA" was in fact built in 1964, and was simply known as the "1964 Competition Car". In all, 16 were built.

Nice Cobra and nice video. I have always admired the 289. Great engine. I bet it gets decent gas mileage when not lead footing! Thanks!
