I m kind of faintly recalling that the frog armor actually had propeller that could propel it and make it swim nicely when underwater. Just mentionning it for completeness sake I am totally not sure.
There's also an easier way to get the Kangaroo robot armor. When you're under water, stand on the right of the pit, equip the Frost Shield weapon, charge it up, and shoot it. It will form an ice block, when it does, jump on it, it will float you all the way to the top, from there just jump on the ledge and get the Kangaroo armor.
Remember, you need the Frost Shield weapon from Blizzard Buffalo and the X-buster upgrade to pull this off. If you don't this won't work.
theres an actually easier way to beat him. when he jumps at you at the beginning of the fight, just shoot the ice and then dash under he'll land on the ice. then look at him, then do the same thing over and over. if you do that, you wont get hit at all.
