i was watching some vids on your channel im a guitar and keyboard player I just to play joe satriani,s crush of love and I like dream theater and i have all their albums.. well now have the 5530, when I connect it to the pc via ovi suite it doesnt show how instal apps like the menus of nokia pc suite from N series phones, how can I install al the apps you recoment to me?? when you insaled them doesnt ask to you for caduced certificad or that you cannot install them???

Well, to install the apps, You have just to copy them on memory card of the mobile by USB connection, and install them via Menu-> Applications-> File mgr-> E: Memory Card, then you choose the application who you wan't to install.

You can accept the certificate without worry, then select your memory card as installation support.

Some applications are required to be signed, however, must follow a tutorial to do that. You can search on google how to sign a s60v5 application.

samsung was good enough for me , but its time to change and 5530 is more fun and complete for me .....i have some dream theater songsnow  in the phone :P

really good:D cookie was also pretty good, cuz me first touch... lol but now with wireless and apps and all the fun stuff, the 5530 is perfect for fun. lg cookie didnt have any good apps and the speedometer was crap but star was ok... 5530 is the better ofthe 3 though:DDD

@jakhov : if you have money to buy a Nokia N900, then buy it. if not the Nokia 5530 has an excellent quality / price ratio. he has an open system like the n97, and the posibility to add full applications. very good touch screen. great internet browser. So yes, I recommend it if you want a mobile phone without 3G.

well sometimes we waste some innecesary money,i think some features are unusable for me lile 3g , 9(ihad n95, k800, k850, n80, and never use it for a single call... now i HAVE the samsung jack that is good but I want to change now , of couse for an affordable new phone, thanks far the advise, and is not easy to see a n900 here in mexico,....not even with the contract companies,, seee yaa

3G is also used to navigate faster on the Internet if you have an unlimited Internet subscription, but EDGE is not bad too.

anyway, if you have a small budget, you can buy the 5530 without any hesitation.
