If ur commander on most servers u can normally fight... U can just operate...

But if u have luck u can make a trap with ur C4 :)

i kill fully loaded goliaths solo not that hard;

requirements: a commander(not nececery but very handy) ,5 rdx, good cover, a ground defence.

Get the commander to do a orbital strike NEXT to giliath, and a EMP ON it a lil bit later, stick all RDX on it and jump in a ground defence, fire it on goliath (not the repair thingy), jump out and pres the fire buton, theres 10 points and 5 kils ;)

you shoot it. It dies pretty fast actually. Especially when fired by Warlker missiles. It is capable of taking it down to 60% or something.

I have just recently become dishearted with the game. I have seen more and more rockets used to decide a battle than actual tactics and infantry play. Rockets are been used as the weapon of choice and in my oppiniong its really hurting teamplay....

2.yes, i hate it when ur in a tank, or gunship and ur drivin, trying to sneak up on a walker or other tank to hit it from behind

and ur gunner starts shooting! they do 0 damage to the target, and they just let the enemy driver know ur there

destroying the goliath WILL require teamwork. i think it will be VERY hard to do it alone

All gunners are like that. What you've got to do is to get a squad member in with you, then tell him you're gonna sneak up on someone. Of course, assuming that he isn't a dumbass.

I can see why they call it the Goliath. EMP, Orbital Strike, at least two rockets, and a FAV crashing into it, and it still keeps on trucking. Not to mention the firepower on that thing... I'm a fan of the EU, so this is gonna rock!

I agree. You see, the reason the Goliath wasn't destroyed is that it has pads that keep repairing it. You have to take those out before destroying the Goliath itself.

For all those who said you cant get teamwork like that you are quite wrong. You just have to find the right place to play. Teamwork play is the only thing that keeps me playing this game long after it became a boring shootup fest everywhere else

Sweet! Destroying those Regenerative Armor Power Points (RAP's) is going to add a whole new dimension to taking out Goliaths, especially in an Urban Combat Zone.

If anyone is worried the Goliath will over power the PAC (or who ever might have it) I wouldn't worry so much. EA/DICE did a pretty good job balancing the maps and weapons in 2142. I have high hopes they will do the same with Northern Strike, albeit it might be more difficult to do so with the asymmetrical map set-ups.

The Goliath is for the EU.

The Goliath supplies Ammo and health if you stand near it.

The Goliath has six power charges that keeps the Goliath going on health (it regenerates).

The PAC Hachimoto is perfectly capable of destroying a few of the charges, then you directly assault it.
