The bright point of light to the lower right of the moon in this video is not Sirius or Jupiter. Sirius was actually in the opposite direction(East), and Jupiter was hidden in the glow of the Sun during early January 2009(according to my astronomy software). It was without a doubt Venus

Stuff moves up there. We are drifting through space. To look up what was in this video you would need to look back in time to see where exactly we were, and where exactly on earth this video was taken from. I think it very well could have been Sirius, but I'm not betting my life on it...
