अगदी अलिकडचे चित्रपट "बघ हात दाखवून" "गाढवाचं लग्न" यातही त्याने उत्तम अभिनय केला आहे.

पुणेरी समीक्षक मकरंद च्या अभिनयात तोच तोच पणा आला आहे अशी टीका करताना दिसतात. अशोक सराफ आणि लक्ष्या आणि भरत जाधव यांनी तरी वेगळं काय केलं ??

तर अशा समीक्षांकडे काना डोळा करुन मकरंद ने आम्हास अधिक अधिक हसवावं हीच अपेक्षा.

"मकरंद अनासपुरे" मराठी सिनेमात सतत झळकत असलेलं एक नाव. पण ते झळकतंय केवळ त्याच्या मराठवाडी शैलीमुळे नाही तर त्याच्या अभिनय गुणांमुळे सुद्धा. मराठवाड्याच्या बोलीला वाचा फोडणारा मकरंद.खरंच त्याने मराठवाड्याच्या बोलीत पुण्याच्या बोलीच्या शुद्ध तुपाची भेसळ न करता मूळ बोलीची चव कायम राखली आहे. सात च्या आत घरात,कायद्याचं बोला,या सारख्या चित्रपटांमधून त्याने जम बसवला.
