Every time I hear this man speak, I come to adore him more and more. Oliver Sacks is so wonderful. He speaks so fondly and understandingly of all his patients, and seems to be such a phenomenal human being.
Ahhh. He tells a nice story 04:54- 05.17 and ends with a smile, expecting a positive reaction from the interviewer, but interviewer was just quiet, paused and asked another question. This probably hurt Oliver Sacks' feelings for a moment; he certainly looked uneasy. Wasn't that rude of the interviewer or was there a reason? Maybe he wasn't listening and just had a list of questions to ask.
I agree, it would be great if Al Jazeera were more widely available, especially in the US.
The station does not whitewash US crimes the way Fox, CNN, etc., do. In response to this independent stance, the US has bombed Al Jazeeera offices, killed reporters and banned the station from reporting in Iraq.

Oliver sacks is amazing. He had a series of videos that we watched in high school psychology class. He is a very curious and inquisitive sort of guy. I encourage people to watch more of his videos if they are on here....
HE IS AMAZING. I would love to meet him.

Unlike chimps, (and Kim Jong-il), humans have hard wiring between the auditory and motor regions of the brain
That is very interesting
But it doesn't explain why white folks can't dance (j/k)
