@hpwizardry you have to keep in mind that Aish was much younger and rehearsed much longer according to the choreographer. Madhuri was pregnant and was doing some of the moves on the spot in order not to tire herself. They did a live performance of the song few years ago on a tour and Madhuri completely outdanced Aish.

I like Aish a lot, but every time I watch this song I can see that no amount of plastic surgery can compete with the real beauty that Madhuri is... she looks so refined and feminine - classic beauty! And for some reason, I think she looks more homey than Aish - she looks like Paro and Aish like Chandramukhi... probably because Aish exagerates all her moves, while Madhuri's movements are like flowing water - breathtakingly beautiful !!

@nakshasharma I think they're BOTH beautiful. :) You're right about Aishwarya's moves being bigger and more exaggerated than Madhuri's, though. But I'm not so sure if that's a bad thing or not. ^^ Where Madhuri dances, as you said "like flowing water", Aishwarya is more aggressive and dynamic- I have just as much fun watching her dance as I do Madhuri! They both dance beautifully, and I definitely wouldn't begrudge Madhuri her title as a legendary dancer, but Aishwarya is definitely skilled too!

I saw Devdas years and years ago, and NEVER forgot it. It is the best Bollywood movie of all time on every level, and I won't be happy 'til everyone I know sees it! *lol* But, still, one thing would make my happiness more complete: English subtitles for us Western/English viewers so we can enjoy the meaning of the lyrics, plots, etc. as on the DVD! :) Again, thanks for uploading! <3
