She's going to be a berserker/reaver warrior. ^^;

Intimidation and persuasion only works with coercion, which only the main character can take. It's best to max it out early.

@piemaster3425 min/maxing is when you choose abilites solely for game mechanisms instead of roleplaying. For example, when playing a mage choosing elf instead of human due to the racial benefits of elfs help mages more.

Lol. I know this is a long time after the fact, but I'm not surprised your girlfriend reacted that way. Not many women have a liking for computer games and those that do it's often things like Catz or maybe something as epic as Sims or a tycoon of some sort. Not that all women are like that. I'm one of the ones that does actually like war games. I'd be a little proud myself if my LPs got as much attention as yours do. That's awesome.

I think there are limits to either one. Well, I won't date someone who smokes, but that's because I have asthma and smoke of any kind closes my windpipes. Not fun. But I've never understood the mentality that gaming is worse than drinking. Either behavior can be destructive if misused.

Gaming in and of itself isn't. I love a good game as much as the next guy. The destructiveness begins when gaming is no longer a game and is taken so obsessively serious that it's no longer fun. I have also seen cases where people are so obsessed with a game that they neglect to do other things(shower, eat, etc.) To them nothing matters but the game.

"Videogame fatalities" are more common in Asia, especially in Korea where people have died because they were so obsessed with Starcraft that they died of starvation/heart attacks (due to lack of sleep).

@YDTJedi Im lucky my girlfriend actually likes watching me play games, and shes not a gamer at all, she just enjoys a good story. she watched me play through almost all of icewind dale, dragon age, mass effect, KOTOR, baldur's gate 2, and now is excited about watching me play the witcher. only negative is that she reprimands me if I try to do anything evil...

Actually two handed Elvaans in FFXI Online was and is quite common, plus the way they held there swords and such looked kool and elegent, now they're making FFXIV Online and I can't wait! =D problem for most people though is it's pay 2 play = / still awsome game, better than WoW with great community, I suggest checking it out, other than that awsome vids and keep up the great work! ;-)

Elvaans in that game though tend to be pumpous asses alot of the time and are REALLY stuck up if they're an NPC or some nerd who likes to role play his character.... (those people are specifically annoying even though you rarley meet them) not sure if their attitudes have changed now that they're known as Elezen in FFXIV but in any case they are a lot more appreciated than in this game = / (and as in this game they're still one of the best archers)

I generally think that two handed hammers are better than most two handed swords, since they have very high armor penetration.

Does anyone know how many drake scales i need to make the armor for wade. I looked but can't find the answer.

u need 3 drake scales. If u kill all the drakes u should get 6 drake scales and u get one dragon scale from the high dragon. Basically wade can make you 3 armor sets with those but if u want the superior sets u will have to also pay some money (10 gold in the beginning and 20 later). hope that helped :)

My character is also a elf (commoner) and he totally dominates every battle with his big ass 2handed axe, maybe boost your dexterity a bit? Also, you might wanna make Toe a Templer, mage eater in other words :p

What do you do after you turn in the quests in Denerim? I completed everything...Pearl, Back Alleys, Abandoned Building...came back to Denerim and handed in everything and then there was nothing left for me to do...and I can't leave because there is no path to a World Map and I still don't have access to the Fort.

it's easier on the consoles, because the action is more focused there, and on computer, the game is focused on tactic over action
