  • That sounds like shit

  • @Fastgt2003 its got different mufflers now

  • Probably the quietest true duals I've ever heard. Yea make sure you get those 18" That's pretty weak dude

  • @ford71037 fixed it, got new mufflers on now

  • Ahhh, a sweet sound indeed!

  • Nice, I like the mellow yet throaty sound. I want to do the same to mine next year. I didn't see any cats, where are they?

  • the cats are right off the headers :

) this isn't the system we wanted tho the shop screwed up....we're getting the correct/louder mufflers put on next wed. ill post another video :)

  • How did they branch from the manifolds? Two into one first or true duels eliminating the crossover pipe?

    5.4 liter?

  • yes 5.4....basically true dual is there are two pipes that are never joined into one. Each header has its own pipe and it stays that way for the whole exhaust. The X pipe isnt necisserly joining the pipes but it crosses the exhaust flow into the oppisite pipe to cut down the resinance.

  • favorited so when i get a camera with sound i can do a video of "my" truck's exhaust.

  • Cant wait to hear it :)

  • Sweet ........

    aw - yeah "thats it"

  • Great exhaust note Kevin. What size pipe are you running 2" inch or 2 1/4 " anything bigger than 3" on a daily driver or street rod will generally hurt the performance of it. But with this slick set up your running I bet you noticed a better acceleration and if it seemed to have more grunt to it.

  • NOTE: Unless you have a diesel with pipe sizes then you can run monstrosity pipe sizes.

  • Sounds quite nice! Looks nice, too.

  • 2001 5.4 triton. special truck, you wont find another f150 with this set of packages and this low of miles :} the shop put on the wrong mufflers, thats why its so quite....taking it back wed to get the loud ones i wanted....i will def make a video again.

  • love the vid Kevin! that looks and sounds awesome!

  • Mines got straight pipe, with a Thrush.

& My Mustang, has working side pipes!

    No real muffler!

  • bigger tips?

  • That is a gorgeous exhaust system! Whoever did that work did a great job.

  • just a younger dude actually. he made that X pipe and custom fabricated it all. Amazing job, mint welds....all perfect!

  • great vid, piss music

  • cool vid

  • Looks and sounds good, Kev! I see you're in a Lube Center of some sort down in the pit. Wish my home shop had a pit.

  • actually this was just a rotary lift! inground pits are great for working on cars tho..

  • ohh Shit I see now. Its a Runway/Drive On Lift. Would love me one of those even more than a pit!

  • Man they are so nice! Crawling on the ground with jack stands seems so ancient when you work on a car thats on a lift :)

  • Nice is this your truck Kevin??? if so welcome to the F-series family!

also going with Magnaflow mufflers on my truck, which ones are these? except i am going with side exit exhaust, on each side, right in front of the rear tire (going for a nice angular aiming exhaust tips), and dual exhaust is just Stereo to us car guys! :)

  • No this is my dads truck, got the exhaust for him for christmas haha. we considered doing 45's behind the rear tires but then the tips would always be dirty and we thought straight out the back was nice and old school ....thanks Brent!

  • Strait out the back isn't a bad choice either Kevin its actually the best choice for performance anyways. And in some cases it makes the vehicle sound better.

  • is this ur truck

  • No.

  • now thats wat i like te see man! nice vid!

  • the video of the Lincoln is still pending by the way lol...i made it i just gotta up it.
