Hmmm. Seems someone has mistaken lack of slick production for lack of talent! I've only seen Abby twice and met her once (as she was kindly playing bass on Kathy Valentine's "Light Years" mini-tour). Abby was a terrific singer and bass player when I saw her, and, truthfully, double-extra hot. But P.T. Barnum was right and American record companies are sticking to this one rule: "You will never go broke underestimating the American public." For actual music lovers, a sad state of affairs...
