this game is insane i really like that it is mac compatable my mac struggles but with a little bit of lowered graphics the game runs fine however i am a little jealous of the graphics that appeared int his clip owell lol at leas my computer can run the game unlike 99% of other games exclusive to pc.

This is a great game, but your pc has to be very good to play it, if you haven't got the speed the game needs on your pc, you just can't play it, not what so ever!

I think EA Went over the top on this game because not all people have amazing PC's that have lots of space and speed!

Over all the game is a great game, with lots of freedom!

@BillsDarkSide u dont need a very good pc. i have a pentium 4 with pixel shader 2 a weak video card (not very weak but its weak for the recent games) and im sure it works perfectly. i saw the minimum requesits and my pc has enough power to play sims 3.

but when ive played sims 3 wasnt in the pc ive mentioned. i have another more powerful (not a very good pc but its enough to all the recent games) .

Okay this has been aching me sense I saw the new sims 3, and seeing all the new traits, i want it.

Question: that weird block shaped head can be modified right? cause most of the sims 3 characters I see have it, and its the only thing keeping me from buying it. Are the character CAC settings as detailed as the on sims 2?

sims 3 is the best purchase ive made in a long time i got it for my birthday in June and i now have the World Adventures expansion pack i love it its great and there are loads of new things to try out i love the new traits system . i would recommend sims3 its so much better than 2 , the graphcs, content and stories you can pan out are much better

yeah its pretty awsome. but you need all the requirements for your computer or it will piss you off. cuz the game just shuts off randomly if your graphics card doesnt fit the requirement.

It's really hard .. since it's a lot of work .. maybe you should ask the creative team of Peggyzone, creators of a lot of costumized stuff. They're currently working on Sims 3 items. Their items are the best ones I've ever seen. The Sims 2 ones were already amazing!!

Maybe you got the wrong video card. I'm not sure of mine, but I think I also got a wrong video card. Since I already need a new one, I'll buy a new one soon. The official Sims site gots a list of recommended features you need to play the game on it's best. For me it turned out I possibly have a wrong video card and my pc is too slow.

i got the game when it came out preorder and all. Im a sims junkie annd absolutely LOVE the sims... but the sims 3 really disappointed me. it was great at first but i must say i really like sims 2 better. so just letting u guys know.. its kinda glitchy and i was hoping fr a lot more customization on my actual sim. just thought id share that with u guys.. its not as great as it seems. still pretty cool though

well i like the sims 3 but i paid $70 for it and wish i didnt. my sims will glitch and make the game nonplayable. i went for a week w/o playin bc the glitch pissed me off so much. there are tons of things that r like ZOMG!!! at first and then just like ok cool whatev... the items arent all that cool so im waiting for them to release some expansions. idk how much it cost but if u buy it dont uninstall sims 2 bc i did and i cant put them back on till the end of the mnth. its an okay game...

Funny stuff, EA brings all these talented people , and then doesn't even help them to create REAL custom content for the game. Sure recoloring in game stock items is a nice touch, but without real custom content like what is in Sims 2, then The Sims 3 completley loses it's addictive holding power over MANY of the gamers.
