When i was a little kid all the control just drove me nuts. Basically, the only thing i was not able to do wrong was sit quietly in a straight back chair and follow orders. Hey Jeeperrandy, I noticed you have a tarp under your pumpkins. I have no luck whatsoever with my pumpkins here in the north bay area near SF. What is that technique and what does it accomplish? (I think my problem was I was trying to grow two different kinds of seeds and they cross-pollinated.) They only seem to grow if they can climb my pomegranate tree - they come out tiny. SOS!
I have a terrible weed problem in my garden, and i am somewhat disabled so it's hard to weed. I put down the tarp and place the tires over the holes to keep it all in place. Then I only have to weed in the tires (3 or 4 plants each), and the pumpkins aren't growing out through lots of other vegetation. I have a very short growing season here (frost in May). Pumpkins and squash are the only things I've been successful with.
I grow about 3 or 4 different varieties of pumpkins.
Wow! Thanks. Last year we had six pumpkins in the pomegranate tree that were the size of softballs. It totally looked like a pumpkin tree. This year, we planted in a slightly different place, and they headed straight for the pomegranate tree again! We have cold foggy nights here, so our season isn't too good. Hope you're up to your eyeballs in squash and pumpkins soon. Cheers!

We were getting our dog's health supplements from a Canadian company online. It was the only thing we found that really worked for him. When i was a little kid all the control just drove me nuts. Basically, the only thing i was not able to do wrong was sit quietly in a straight back chair and follow orders. Status idiots end up being adopted into the system and become collaborators, but real people just carry that cross to their eventual death by rules and punishment. One day the status people will drive the whole organized mess to critical mass and then things won't be quite so thoroughly organized and legislated anymore.

C-51 would even criminalize the simple drying of herbs in your kitchen to be used in an herbal product, by the way. That would now be categorized as a "controlled activity," and anyone caught engaging in such "controlled activities" would be arrested, fined and potentially jailed. Other "controlled activities" include labeling bottles, harvesting plants on a farm, collecting herbs from your back yard, or even testing herbal products on yourself!

In theory, a mother giving an herb to her child, under the proposed new language, could be in violation of the new law, and be arrested for engaging in the sale of unregulated, unapproved "therapeutic devices."

Hey Jeeperrandy, I noticed you have a tarp under your pumpkins. I have no luck whatsoever with my pumpkins here in the north bay area near SF. What is that technique and what does it accomplish? (I think my problem was I was trying to grow two different kinds of seeds and they cross-pollinated.) They only seem to grow if they can climb my pomegranate tree - they come out tiny. SOS!

I have a terrible weed problem in my garden, and i am somewhat disabled so it's hard to weed. I put down the tarp and place the tires over the holes to keep it all in place. Then I only have to weed in the tires (3 or 4 plants each), and the pumpkins aren't growing out through lots of other vegetation. I have a very short growing season here (frost in May). Pumpkins and squash are the only things I've been successful with.
I grow about 3 or 4 different varieties of pumpkins.

Wow! Thanks. Last year we had six pumpkins in the pomegranate tree that were the size of softballs. It totally looked like a pumpkin tree. This year, we planted in a slightly different place, and they headed straight for the pomegranate tree again! We have cold foggy nights here, so our season isn't too good. Hope you're up to your eyeballs in squash and pumpkins soon. Cheers!

It's called Horsetail ( Equisetaceae )and is most closely related to ferns. Many varieties grow plentiful in the wild here in Ontario.
Also called Bottlebrush Plant, Cat's Tail, Common Horsetail, Field horsetail, Pipeweed, Shave Grass, Scouring Rush.

I'd like nothing better than to see all the ppl (gov't officials), who're making these crazy laws to do away with ppl growing alt. remedies; & criminalizing them via this bill if (& I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before it passes), I'd love to see every one of those officials who're involved in this crap, ingest all of the drugs that they "claim" is so much better than what nature has already available for ppl with "common sense" to take.

This is absolutely absurd! They say we live in a democracy where the gov. is of the ppl & by the ppl, but I don`t see any ppl standing up & demanding that the police confiscate & fine us (ultimately imprison since no one can pay $5 million) b/c we grow herbs & flowers in our private gardens or flower pots in the home. It`s absurd. As for the chicken eggs, gov. has already outlawed drinking raw cow milk. These are insane times, yet we the ppl put these power hungry nuts in office.

There is probably even an anti bartering law, that would state that you have to change everything into government currency before exchanging it for other good. You cannot trade something for something without money changing hands.

You might look at this as legislated convolution. They want to contol every aspect of your life. Mostly they want to keep you from growing pot because it will cut into the governments cocaine, heroine, and crystal meth business. It is not legal, but lucrative in the extreme if law enforcement can be nullified. This is a government progam which could also be call big money for big bucks. If people grew their own, then the government would not have that illegal drug business..

We were getting our dog's health supplements from a Canadian company online. It was the only thing we found that really worked for him. The worst part, besides what is in my video, is that this Bill incorperates some clauses that are in direct violation of our charter of rights and freedoms, like raiding our homes without a warrant and withholding our property for any amount of time. They try to pass a bill with these clauses written in as a way to further take away our rights and violate our hard-fought freedom.

The government wants full control of everything! That way they can continue to collect taxes for every little item we use. Soon we won't be able to cut our own firewood or raise our own livestock. Laws like these have sections written in that violate the constitution, like them being able to take our property for any length of time. Fortunately, some aspects of this bill , like the ones I discuss here, brought the bill to attention before it was passed and our rights and freedoms were lost.
