Ninjas would have won very easily you know why?First of all they wouldn't have been spotted so easily and they wouldn't try to kill all their targets in open combat!Second,if they were in open combat like they were here they would have won very easily cause they would have been better prepared better equiped and maybe (i can't quarantee that) better fighters than an ordinary samurai!Well it is truth that the leader of the samurai's would kill many ninjas but he wouldn't manage to survive!

I doubt Ninjas are better fighters then Sumurais. Samurais training started already in the age of 3 years!!! Since then they had a hard drill for body control and learned to hide pain. In the age of 5-7 they learned already to use swords , bows , fencing and Jiu Jitsu" Also the Samurai had good armor, the Ninjas didn't had.

@JazzJaRa True the Samurai were better fighters, had better armour, and equipment,but the ninjas did not abide by the same rules of honor as the samurai. Using methods such as posion, assassination,sabotage, most of their weapon were farming tools. The ninjas like the colonists in the American revolution were fighting for their freedom. Another reason ninjas killed many samurai, was due to the sword they used, the blade was shorter then the sheathe allowing for a quicker draw.

Ninjas didn't fought for their freedom, they were covert agents or mercenarys. Their actions were espionage, sabotage, infiltration, and assassination. The Ninja didn't followed any rules such as the Samurais who followed the Bushido codex. They never killed a enemy from the back and most of them killed themself if they survived their lord or if they dishonored themself or their family. Also there weren't much fights between Samurai and Ninjas like in the movie

honestly both are honorable. If you read a book called "secrets of the samurai" (A nonfiction text on the subject) it researches, describes, and details the broad range of military and political structure in feudal japan. It states both "Ninja" and "Samurai" had their perspective schools and codes. Both served their masters and honored them by stalwartly (and sometimes blindly) upholding their principles. Debating as to whether one is better than the other is a futile topic.
