  • worst decision to trade billups for iverson

  • welcome to L A

  • Chauncey is the most underrated PG in the biz...smh

  • Beside Kwame Brown for Pau Gasol trade, that Billups for Iverson trade was a joke.Dumars should be fired at end of that season.

  • he got what most flashy players dont, which is leadership

  • <3

  • Damn Pistons shouda keep Billups But they went with A.I. stupid move

  • @DrippyBrown ur fucking retarded. if u want old rip and tay then go ahead and have them. they are worthless now. and there is no way that they would all reunite in nj. impossible

  • man the good old piston team...

  • wats the nameof this pac tune?

  • @jaramaster tupac-str8 ballin

  • @iDuffdabestweed wicked thx!

  • Welcome to New York, Chauncey!

  • i didn't know he was that good on the pistons now that he's on the nuggets he's not so good

  • he's one of the most efficient point guards ever it's too bad he doesn't get enough respect just because he isn't flashy or in commercials.

  • he is the best

  • those shots were beast but his passes were equally fun to watch.. and rasheeds face after chaunceys 3 against the nets

  • Back when Detroit was st8 ballin' :) memories of loving to watch basketball every other day...miss watching the best team in the NBA- Chauncey Billups-PG Rip Hamilton- SG Tay Prince- SF RaSHEED Wallace-PF B(lock)en Wallace- C

  • perfect song to compliment chauncey's run in detroit. very smooth and chill just like chaunce

  • come back to Detroit Billups ,please ;D

  • come back to Detroit Billups ,please ;D

  • come back chauncey

  • what song?

  • @WhyNotLetItFly114

    Tupac - Straight Ballin'

  • damn man denver is so lucky wen it comes to trades we got way better wen we got AI but the we got phenominal wen we got chauncey

  • Joe Dumars has done nothing but get ride of our best player, destroy the 04 bad boys, pick up Allen Iverson:the basketball player who doesn't know how to win, and eat donuts

  • @basketballkid6969

Not to metion pick Darko, over Dwane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh

  • There's still idiots trying to justify Dumar's "genius move"

  • @iamhungey12345 dumars is a fat ass who eats donuts and wrecks perfect teams

  • One of the best point guards to ever step on the court and deserves to be mentioned as a hall of famer after his career ends

  • Woo Str3 ballin

  • i like 2pac but this song doesnt fit this video

  • This song is DOPE! Haha, I dont even like Tupac that much.

  • The usually very smart Dumars made his fatal mistake trading Billups this cat made the team run, Stuckey simply wasn't ready to take over and Iverson lol what can I really say. What a mistake now Denver enjoys his skills.

  • damn perfect song

  • Mister Big Shot!

  • Just classy!

  • @MrB1gSh0t Agreed and when he joined he nuggets they went to wcf without having to score 40 every night unlike *cough AI cough*

  • My favorite Billups mix. Great highlights and the mellow vibe of the song fits his play style perfectly.

  • best pg in the league

  • the beat is crazy

    so is the player ..chauncey...xD

    is 2pac .no?

  • @mikeinthebike yeah "2pac-straight ballin"

  • Cant believe we traded him for AI :(

  • He got soft hands.

  • chauncey is a winner. period. every team he goes to is a contender for the championship. He plays great defense, is a crazy good shooter/scorer, and has exceptional playmaking abilities. This guy is definitely one of the premier players in the league

  • @ 0:17 tim duncan is doing something weird lol

  • @YawningBoy

Yeah, he was trying to get the refs to call carying on Chauncey. I love how Chauncey just lifted up and shot over him though. Clever move.

  • @tokinblckgie oh okay that makes sense now. I thought tim duncan was trying to find a way to distract chancey billup's shot haha

  • i guess the pistons thought billups wasnt getting any younger and wouldnt perform as much in recent years, boy did they get burned. chauncey has made the nuggets a championship contender. always admired his game

  • @MrB1gSh0t

And I said scoring does matter I didnt say its the only thing that matters

  • @MrB1gSh0t

Billups owns I am not hating on him its just that hes so good I thought he would have scored more look anywhere he has never scored 40. If I didn't like billups I wouldn't watch this video and favorite it at that.

  • @MrB1gSh0t

No the highest he hasn't scored 40 the highest in his career playoffs included is 39 vs. LA Lakers 02/05/10 im not joking and scoring does matter if you have 4 people who can score 40 you probably can beat lots of people

  • what song is that?

  • we better get chouncy back CHOUNCY WE NEED U COME BACK TO THE PISTONS

  • I would have Billips on my team then any other point guard except maybe Nash. As a Lakers fan I wish we would trade our whole bench away for this guy, that would be killer.

  • Damn, Mr. Smooth

  • MISTER BIG SHOOT nuff said

  • bad quality!

  • THE BEST MA FAV

  • pistons r dumb for giving up one of the best point guards in the league

  • wat song?

  • 2pac straight ballin

  • i like nash and cp3 too but billups is a champion. he took these same nuggets who couldnt make it past the first round of the playoffs with iverson, to taking them to the western conference finals! id rather have billups on my team than any of the new flashy point guards

  • fuckin dumb ass pistons.. wtf were they thinking trading away mr. big shot

  • Just because he isn't a marketable face or a flashy scorer doesn't mean he should be downplayed as a player. Come on, the guy made seven straight conference finals appearances. That's got to tell you something about his leadership. Future Hall of Famer all the way.

  • @jaranarm

    Actually 6 not 7 ...

  • @adi1096

    It's 7, 6 with Detroit and 1 with Denver.

  • @tokinblckgie

    I said with Detroit...

  • @adi1096

Not in the post I was replying to...

  • @jaranarm I disagree, when he got a lot more expirienced in Detroit, he could really make his own points, but you're 100% right on the leadership role, considering we(Detroit) went to being one of the best teams to worst with just that one trade.Tells you a lot about AI game strategy too..

  • @jaranarm i hope detroit hangs his number in the rafters... that whole championship squad deserves it, but dont know if thats exactly realistic to hang all 5 of them haha. chauncey and big ben definitely

  • @LebronMVP4LIFE

I would hang that starting five in the rafters. This was a group of rejects and misfits that came together and found a way to win. Probably the best earned championship in history. Big Shot, Big Ben, Tay, Rip, and Sheed forever!

  • OMFG 3:57 was ownage

  • why did the pistons traded him? he was their best player

  • yeah i loved that team in their best days

Billups, rip, prince, sheed, and ben wallace.. :( i miss them

  • all of them were on the All Star team once that was sweet

  • I know but they thought he would lose value if they kept him too long. Another thing I just found out is that he has never scored 40 points in one game

  • @adi1096 who cares hes a winner doesnt care about stats as long as they win look at iverson nobody wants him cause he doesnt care about winning as long as he scored 40-50 it was better than a win..........look were hes at now /..................just saying.

  • Wow dumbass I was replying to someones comment becuase they asked why would they trade chuancey and I was saying why. Next time check if I was replying to someone

  • @adi1096 how about next time u think to urself and maybe u arent the only one allowed to reply i just replied to ur comment ::)

  • in my opinion billups is 1 of the best all around pg's of all time. he can pass xtremly good, he can shoot xtremly good, he has xtremly good defense, and not to mention he is one of best leaders in nba history and he has proven that. i forgot 1 thing. he can hit big shots in clutch moments. mr. big shot is the man! for sure future halla fammer

  • Ah, the good old days when he was on the Pistons...that was my favorite squad...Billups, Hamilton, Prince, Wallace and Wallace... I don't mind that he's playing for my home team now though.

  • him and deron williams ohh eemm gee my idolss TRUE LEADER NOTHING BUT RESPECT

  • Billups and Granderson will always and 4ever be loved and missed big time

  • sooo good

  • Chauncey is da man. When will people realize what an amazing player he is. Damm, if Chauncey wanted he could easily drop 30-35 pts a night just like Kobe. He is a great player the team means more to him than the high point totals.

    True baller...Respect!!!!!!

  • EXACTLY. Billups didn't put up numbers like that because he was more interested in playing his ROLE and winning CHAMPIONSHIPS (half the so-called "superstars" in the NBA should really take notes).

  • @ sandemus8

30-35 is a stretch, but he could've definitely put up 25 or so when he was younger.

  • damn chauncy can daunK???? i didn no that

  • Great leader. One of the best.

  • Man i miss Chauncy and FUCK AI

  • @SagNasty91

AI is a basterd i hate him ruined detroit from 6 straight eastern confrenence finals to not winning a game in the playoffs and now bc he didnt play like he should have the Pistons havent even won 30 games this season! its only the 4th time in the last 30 years they didnt win 30 games...

  • @SagNasty91 did he retire

  • song?

  • Straight Ballin by Tupac

  • Chuncey is a mutha fukin balla!

  • CHAUNCEY!! BA BA BA BILLUPS!!!

  • @WalkingCorn ill cu cu cu cum in ur mouth

  • in this time it has to be one of the worst trades ever to get rid of billups and get iverson..iverson sucks no offence. dumbest trade ever.

  • My favorite player

  • Hey im from Michigan and i went to a Pistons game during the season with Iverson and after we lost to the sixers there was people near me in the stands yelling "we want chauncey back!".......Yeah, we do.

  • and then they benched iverson!

  • trading him for iverson was probably the dumbest trade in nba history

  • no it wasnt. it could have worked out and they get the championship. if not, well, then they have a lot of cap space. playing with billups 5 more years and losing in the conference finals 5 more times is not the aim right?

  • Detroit loves Chauncey

  • 2: 52?? y wasnt houston back on ther side of the floor on the inbounds pass

  • Because there was 26 seconds left in the game and they had to foul. So they played full court man to man defense and since there wasn't any Pistons player upcourt they were all down there. This play usually only works in high school games though.

  • too strong for all but baron davis, derron and derrick rose

  • Fuck Derrick Rose sorry ass

  • tim duncan looks retarded tryna signal a travel at 0:20 funny

  • lol wtf was duncan doin at 0:19

  • what's the name of this song please

  • straight ballin' by 2 pac. good weed smokin' song in my opinion.

  • this is my favorite youtube player mix. dope song and a REAL leader, pointguard, and winner. Go Chaunce!

  • No its Chauncey Ray Billups, you moron.

  • wtf

  • i was fucking around lol

  • lol it looks like chauncey punched his face at 4:03

  • great point guard!!! what 's the songs name?

  • str8 ballin' by 2pac. peace

  • ou yeah baby! nice shoots! he's one of the best point guard in the NBA! respect!

new CS server Ip 192.168.1.246:27015. we are working with it.

  • detroit pistons were the best underrated team. with the best underrated players.

  • 2 words. Best PG.

  • thats the best way 2 put it... too bad me and you are probably the only 2 people that actually believe that... the guy just doesnt get enough credit..

  • yeman, i wish there were more teams like this one. Chauncey will go down one of the best point guards that ever played the game

  • man i miss this guy.

  • Anyone have the Chauncey mix with the "Many Men" song that vid was tight. I can't find it anywhere.

  • hes number was one right?? so how that happen that when iverson goes to detroit hes number was one too..?

  • can u say underrated or wat!!

  • underrated and the best point guard since magic if u look at wat hes done took pistons to 6 str8 east finals inculding the nuggets make it 7 str8 trips to confrence champ u cant beat that man

  • nice vid

  • GO BILLUPS!!! YOUR MA IDOL MAN!

  • no wonder michael curry got fired he made a big mistake trading him for allen iverson

  • what.... are you an idiout the coach doesnt make the trades, the person who traded chauncy was joe dumars the owner or manager of the team the reason they traded him was to save some money

  • you only catch lightening in a bottle so often. if you don't have leadership like chauncey, it's just a bunch of players running around the court. that's why they were so special. god i miss 2004 for that reason. go pistons anyway!

  • I 2nd that. Man i do really miss larry brown and that squad.

  • OMG!! MONSTER JAM!!

  • when he faked horry i bet SA coach was like Damn

  • when chauncey was drafted he was shoot first and pass second but when he came to detroit larry brown worked with him to be a true point guard and chauncey is still going to be good for many years

  • SHIT....i love this guy...

and we have the same shoes... :p

    xD

  • mr. big shot!

    what a player, men!

  • what a dunk

  • whats the song?

  • staright ballin

    2pac

  • the mix is hot

  • 0:00

  • 4:32 i never saw that dunk

thats probably the best dunk he has in the nba

  • first of all.. the point about classes on basketball i hope it was only a joke or something..

Secondly, Pistons will never be the same again after the great team they had the past years.. the had the perfect fit for the West Conference. Hard defence and fast play. The problems started when Big Ben left and Rasheed relaxed his game..

  • i miss chauncey and flip saunders

  • i miss larry brown...flip was a good coach but i think larry brown was better hands down

  • flip got the pistons to the conference finals each time. i know, falling at the second last hurdle every time but it comes down to the players not getting it done. the coach can only do so much.

  • Thats what i thought to but i watched this half time talk in a pistons game and it was chris webber saying nobody will listen to flip and joe dumars is the only one who they listen to anyways it doesnt matter taushen and rip are are only guys left with those ring of o3-04

  • good point. i agree.

  • there are smaller people playing pro basketball, but, simply, no one cares.

  • Chauncey Billups is extremely underrated

In 2008 when he was on the Pistons, they went to the conference finals. Nuggets got swept in 1st round.

In 2009 when he was on the Nuggets, they went to the conference finals. Pistons got swept in 1st round.

  • The problem with what your saying is that there are many other factors that have contributed to the failures of the pistons and the success of denver other than the trade of chauncey. While chauncey certainly would have helped Detrit even though he wouldn't be playing with a chip on his shoulder however Detroit has other serious problems. The first being the old frontcourt line [Center Power forward and small forward] The second being how incompetent coach curry is and also the core didn't care.

  • Now I certainly think that chauncey has really helped the nuggets out with leadership, attitude, more scoring, etc but what makes the nuggets so succesful imo is other factors as well like the return of a solid front court like nene and chris andersen, they actually care about defense, George Karl isn't a great coach but he's better than curry, and plenty of other things that I probably can't think about.

  • The chauncey move needed to be done. There was no way that the pistons would have won the title with how much the east has improved, how complacent the veterans were [Chauncey would not have played at the level that he has been playing in denver if he stayed in detroit] and how bad michael curry was [is] as a coach. Atleast we were able to give playing time to stuckey who we are putting our future on, we have some cap space for some free agents and start to rebuild.

  • u right & it looks they gonna get rid of Wallace too

  • Yeah Sheed is probably not coming back because his contract is expiring and we want the capspace from that contract. It really sucks that our old core has aged and has become complacent because of how good they were, and how fun they were to watch at the time. I'm just glad that atleast Chauncey is playing as well as he has and has another legit chance to win a championship.

  • i don't agree with the trade but i do agree that Stuckey is the future of the pistons...him and Maxiell

  • one of the top 3 pgs in the league today

  • despite for his slow movement ,he is stronger against other point guards just like derek fisher!!

    (my opinion)

  • He is actually fast in my opinion. He looks slow because he is big.

  • overall, he plays well

  • MY FAV PG!!!

  • BAD BOY FOR LIFE!!!

  • Go Chauncey. Ivo can learn a thing or two from you on how to conduct himself as an adult and leader. Detroit will win the Champ b/c of Billups.

  • Comment removed

  • lol he hangs onto the rim for like 30 seconds on that damn dunk in the end. "Look at me, I can dunk !! U seen it ?! Ok, take another look now."

Awesome player. Extremely efficient on the court.

He actually had a season in Detroit when he avrg. 8.5 dimes a game while scoring 20.

  • Chauncey is about to make it to 7 straight conference finals. I just wish it was in Detroit. Keep doing your thing big shot! We miss you in the D.

    Go Pistons!
