I'm just browsing YouTube for genres of music that I've never heard before... and I'm coming across some amazing stuff! I knew music was diverse, but this is incredible! :D
Maybe better than Huun Huur Tu itself, but not better than the Master: Kaigal-ool. But In fact, seems to me that Kaigal-ool Khovalyg is Huun Huur Tu itself, so that leads to: no, it is not better than Huun Huur Tu itself.

this song sounds a bit as if it were Appalachian folk, except only that instead it's Mongolian throat music. Very nice music. Check out Huun-Huur-Tu. More amazing music.

I think this is beautiful. It's a shame that the majority of the Western world doesn't know this music exists.

sorry, I only realized after doing research that it is not Mongolian Throat Music. I am sorry for assuming that it is Mongolian.

I think Alash are better than Hun Tuur Tu. IMHO.
khanx3000 3 years ago 19
I agree but the videos of Alash on Youtube aren't very good quality which is a pity.

@MattFabSmile You should check Chirgilchin. They are even better in this regard as far as I can say.
