  • Haha. For us in the USA I just found out who Ken Henry is. He's the former Australian treasury Secretary. They were referring to him as though he were a stand up comic lol. Nothing is different in Australia as it is here. We have our own over-paid comedians as well. they go by the names Geitner, Bernanke . . .

  • Who else besides me tried to find out who Ken Henry is?

  • Frighteningly true!

  • "Tony Abbott was invited."

    "He said he wasn't."

    "Did he?"

    Excellent line delivery

  • didnt want to wake bob up.

  • "isn't a purpose of a Tax Summit to discuss possible changes to the tax system ? "

    "that's right , that's why you got to rule it out bright and early ! " - LOL !!! ;) Awesome ;)

  • If the ATO was a legally constituted entity, those like Abbott would NOT need an invitation to something as relevant to his current and future Australian constituents as that tax sumit. Who did we elect to work for we Australian? Who are the hired help we pay? Gillard and Abbott, or some wankers at the "not a legal entity" tax office? There is a reason they call it an "office" and not a government department. Get a laugh out of that, not!

  • C&D using comedy are protecting one of Australia's biggest lies. Go find the instrument that created the ATO in the first place. Go find when parliamentary procedures in line with the Australian Constitution were used to create the ATO. Go find the minutes in the hansard. Go find the entry in the government gazette. You won't find any of that! Why? Because the ATO is quote "not a legal entity" unquote. therefore not legally constituted. Google my page "Australian tax office "not a legal entity""
