I loved this game. it got me into lord of the rings.
combat was slightly bad, but with practice it got slightly easier.
sigh...I whish they did finish off the sequel. I would have loved to see the games version of the battle for helms deep. or the meeting between gollum and the hobbits.
the guy who does gandalf is in kotor as master uthar and aragon is voiced by the same guy in kotor on taris who is the medical guy who saves a couple of republic soldiers if anyone didnt know

If you're refering to when Frodo crosses the Ford alone on the horse, then allow me to explain. The films deviated from the books in that scene.
In the books, another elf by the name of Glorfindel finds Aragorn, Frodo, and co. and he quickly hoists Frodo (alone) onto the horse, and the horse runs across the Ford with Frodo. Aragorn, Glorfindel, and the other Hobbits follow running on foot.

Tom Kane voiced Gandalf in this game, but also Magneto in Wolverine and the X-Men. Both are also portrayed by Ian McKellen =)
