i actually like what this guy has designed and i think it is very cool and smart, better then any other fat stupid people who are so lazy to design something smart and bring up better future then killing other people. thumbs up who thinks the same way!
Sikorsky made fully working models for military and rescue . People have difficulty staying safe on the road, imagine the chaos of space traffic violations :)
Unwillingness to license such machines is the main reason the research and commercialization of this technology is underfunded...
Only a person without a brain could decapitate himself with this machine so I guess he wouldnt even care if he lost his head. This will sell off worldwide!
The people who think accidents can't happen... those are the first to get hurt. But yea, I think it looks like a fun machine. I wonder how much gas this thing uses, how far it can go on that gas.
I'd just like to point out that posting a video like this without any additional info is just downright cruel! Just immagine what you could do with a 300hp freedom motor on this. You could haul skydivers up to altitude quick! And you could do rescue work in areas other vehicles couldn't get to. I'm really interested in that gear box since it seems to be nearly frictionless. In a world with dimminishing resources this could eliminate the need of roads.
Let's fly over John's house... oh look! there's John! let's say hello to him! HELLO JOH... ZSWSWSAAARGHH!!! (hand cut)

If he put a plexiglass dome just above his head it would make this thing much safer.

The "Fantacopter" by Franquin was a belgian comic's drawer idea in the album "Spirou et les héritiers", 1952!

One thing that would keep this from being widely sold is the danger of decapitation.
Anvilcjl 3 years ago 8
true, the commercial version would have some kind of a guard im sure tho lol, my problem would be having my head touching the bottom of the motor :P
