  • do you have a tutorial? because i have a Focus!:)

  • That looks a lot like the gauges in my audi. Nice job

  • the led's are already white. but the face has green. can't you just sand off the green?

  • is there any simpler ways? I want to change mine to White or blue. can't you just sand off the green and paint thinly so the light still shines through?

  • Perfect!

How did you printed new circuit board?

I'd like to do same gauges but how...

  • @hamatiju there are lots of videos on the internet about etching a printet circuit board. Just use google with 'make printed board' and you will find the answers to all your doubts

  • if you remove the panel, would this restart the mileage again? or would it stay the same?

  • @djvip2006 the same, no problem with it

  • Yes it does :D

And yes to the how to question, basically you have to make a printed circuit board in which you have to solder the leds in a well distributed pattern... more or less following the numbers distribution in the front sheet of the cluster. Then you feed these leds with power from the original bulb holders...

    basically that's all

I hard work but a way to get a nice instrument panel! :D

  • Hi, So you put this PCB with the LEDs between the instrument and the clockface?

  • Exactly!

  • As I know the clockface's back is green, than if you use white LEDs you will get greeny backlight? Am I right? How did ou solve this?

  • Dear My Friend,

Can you tell me how you did it? It looks so perfect. Thanks in advance.
