Your lenses are so weak -- you can avoid wearing them. Best idea -- check against the Snellen. If you pass the 20/25 line -- ditch the glasses. You should ask why you were given glasses -- when you don't need them.

Were you actually checked by an ophthalmologist using a Snellen charts or did they just make your glasses simply basing on a printout from the auto refractometer? How big is your defect? In any case avoid wearing glasses as much as possible so that your defect does not progress. And don't listen to all these comments - you look young, beautiful and natural without glasses.

While some people say that eyesight is about genetics or that eyesight will have to deteriorate as we age its not all about that. The shape of the eyeball can change during your lifetime. Its proven wearing strong lenses constantly will mishape the eyeballs meaning glasses-wearing would become a necessity. Also the lens can change from seeing upclose objects to faraway ones from flexability and muscle use. If you stop using the full range (as you do while wearign glasses) you're limiting

dont wear the glasses. The people selling them need any excuse to give them because their business doesn't raise money any other way.

When wearing a lens you have to remember its like holding up a magnifying glass. Its not a very socialble thing to do. To stare at people while holding up a lens in front of your eyes. (these are attatched via handles to your ears of course.

Also they effect mood and brain function. Notice that walking around with/without glasses makes a big difference to

I've come to not want corrective surgery not because it is your eyes & lasers shooting them is just plain awful to me, but because my glasses are part of who I am. I love wearing my glasses, & feel confident in them. Be sure to spend as much as you can, as price often reflects look & durability. Buy glasses that truly accent your face and you will come to love them.

If you've been prescribed glasses then wear them. It's for your benefit no one else's. If you don't watch TV that still doesn't excuse not wearing them lol. The TV viewing distance as well as driving and general long distance viewing are all classed as distance vision. If you've been prescribed glasses, it's to take the strain off your eyes and help them relax, thus improving concentration.

You'll deffo notice. Try not to compare vision with and without glasses because that then creates the illusion that your vision with the glasses is what it was like BEFORE you wore them. People then think the glasses have made their eyes worse when it's just not true lol.

Hard to say without examining your prescription and glasses. However, point to remember is the image created by glasses is not a natural image. It's a distorted image so it takes a while for the eyes and brain to adjust to it. Within a week of constant wear that should get rid of the problem. If it's still there after say 3 weeks, you need to go back. :-) xx
