A gipsy woman, wants a man and prays the moon to get her one man. The moon accepts, but the firstborn will be the moon's. The firstborn is an albine and the husband who is dark thinks the woman cheated on him and kills her. The moon takes care of the boy and if the boy is happy there is a full moon and if the boy is crying the moon will make him a craddle (ie a menguant moon) where the boy can be rocked. I guess, all this is a gipsy tardition to explain moon phases.
