It's called the Ogre Twitch. They do it because it 1. Keeps their thumb warm, 2. In Halo 1 they did it to calibrate the pistol (BR of Halo 3)

as you can see in the bottom right hand corner, this was mlg v1. (version 1) bungie was experimenting with the map to see what weapons would work best, notice the invis, and how the hill is in bottom courtyard instead of on the flag plat. the mlg matchmaking now is currently using version 5. version 6 is soon to be released though along with mythic map pack.

that's the first version of mlg: the hills are wrong and the weapons are the same as in the regular map, the only thing which make this mlg is the name of the gametype and that there's no radar
