  • We hope the PSAs will prompt these parents, many who are well-intentioned, but whose emotions, whether that be enabling, denial or avoidance, may be preventing them from getting the help they and their children need.

  • @drugfreechannel are they emotions or drugs? One time you are calling them emotions and another you are calling them drugs. This confusion about what a drug is or isn't is part of the drug problem in this country. Bath salts are being used as drugs. Incense is being used as drugs. If your organization wants to speak the truth to parents and children about drugs you need to stop calling emotions drugs.

  • We appreciate your feedback. These PSAs are intended for parents whose children are in the early stages of drug and alcohol use, asking them to stop and consider their actions. Are they enabling permissive attitudes about partying? Are they in denial about the signs they see or the suspicions that sneak up on them? Not yet asking, "Is my child doing drugs and what do I need to do next?," but instead, "Is this really happening?"

  • @drugfreechannel why not just ask the questions then? Why not tell them what to do if they find drugs on their kids?
