  • I used this once. my friend totally wasnt expecting it! xD

  • Good luck getting that in a competition.

  • @1ikwid There are no yellow belts in BJJ and this isn't unrealistic. Any flying submission is practical. The art of surprise my friend.

  • @Lrdvltr Well the kids got yellow belts

  • I understand it's a demonstration, but it's also really unrealistic. Even a yellow belt would never fall for this. Ever. And if you get to that point, why not just go for the arm bar? Oh well, thanks for sharing.

  • Damn, a lil much, but still mad coo

  • great ucki

  • SICKKKKKKKKKK !!!!

  • If I got caught by this, I wouldnt even be upset. Id just tap. Walk off the matt, smile and say, "wow, I just got caught by a flying omaplata, Im sure going to make somones hilight reel pretty awesome."

  • It might seem a little ninjaish but it is still pretty damn cool and really damn impressive.

  • gonna be some broken arms from newbies trying this on their mates for sure...

  • Holy shit thats crazy

  • that was so rad! cant wait to try this in my dojo!

  • There is easier and more practical ways of doing flying omoplata... this just seemed like ninja move :DD

  • man that was sick and from a blue belt?! it's realy hard to execute though. i mean has anyone ever seen it being performed in any grappling competition or mma?

  • Fucking awesome!

  • i was actually looking for flying oompaloompa's

  • that is fricking insane\

  • ahhhh, that looks like it can easily break an arm

  • @ganitywaltz It's...an omoplata e.e

  • this is crazy but i heard in Brazil they don't in an even crazier way

  • I feel like it'd be very easy to accidentally break someone's arm off with this...

  • @gmangsxr750 I've only done it once in MMA but i find it easier then a flying armbar

  • sooooo badassss...hahah

  • Sick move, I've never seen that before, but would be extremely difficult to apply without a gi to keep hold of the arm. Would never work in MMA on a sweaty arm/body.

  • @gmangsxr750 very true.. and you seldom get to hold a guy by one sleeve, the usual reaction of the other guy would be to hold your gi.

  • @gmangsxr750 oh yeah and instead of the gi the wrist works about as well

  • if i ever pull this move off i'll die a happy man :)

  • I was shopping for banana's, and a dude in a rashguard flying omoplata'd my ass.

  • at first i was like no way thts not possible

    then i saw this

    o.o

  • LOL funniest comments ever!!!!

  • 9 people take it up the ass

  • Thank you! You guys r the bomb!

  • WHAT DA FUG!!!!!!

THIS IS BJJ FAIXA LILA !!!

  • I wouldn't use this in a fight with another bjj or juijitsu person but I would use this in like a street fight just to beast the guy

  • @CQBAirsoft130 lol , unlike other flying submissions this could actually work in the street since he's rolling smoothly and not slamming against the mat which on the street would suck to get slammed on concrete. An untrained guy would probably scream in pain before he even figures out what the fuck just happened.

  • adkjhg jdk ';;' ghf hjggj Sorry, I was cleaning the jizz off my keyboard.

  • @ch4dr4u5 Then that means you either had no pants on or saw the title and pulled them down?

  • Since it only hooks the elbow and not the behind the shoulder like you're supposed to, I have my doubts if you can actually pull this off. Not saying it's impossible but I feel like someone with experience would get out of it pretty easily. I'd like to see a video of it going off in competition though, if you have one.

  • I never knew it was possible until i saw this. one word = Impressive

  • i always wondered if this was possible, turns out it is if u are awesome

  • I would never try this in a fight though. It would be almost impossible to get on a good bjj guy that's trying to get out

  • It looks harder than it is... well if you've trained in bjj before.

  • i got caught with this in a nogi bjj match

  • Wait... what if your opponent is sleeveless? Will the be a difference if I grab the wrist?

  • Seems like a double omoplata to me... dunno about it however.

  • Believe it or not guys, this type of oma plata can be executed pretty easily, just don't be a dumbass and practise it on the street

  • Sick.

  • woaah..

  • I agree with drewbrax1

  • A Flying peruvian neck tie would be the shit but i dont know if its possible.

  • my instructor can do it as well. I can only do flying triangles.

  • I told my friend that I was going to show him a cool fighting move. Then I did this, He was stunnend:D

  • i can do this while reading the book i wrote

  • that was fuckin incredible, i can only do an omoplata from guard. i wish to learn this

  • I wanna see a flying Peruvian Neck Tie.....then I'll be impressed

  • thats not how you do it -_-

  • This is epic! But not practical to use in a match

  • holy fucking ay thats cool, never thought it possible!

  • Great looking flying submission! I noticed your thumb was holding the inside of his gi. That's a no no!

  • really cool looking but seems impracticable ... this move is just for show

  • anybody else think he looks like a snake when he does this lol

  • that is awesome!

  • great submission, but i myself would never try it in the ring

  • @Bomhilsnotcountries it seems like as soon as you start doing it the guy would pull his arm back and then you will just be laying on the ground lol

  • This is ONLY for the circus!

  • 4 people got caught with a flying omoplata.

  • @ArtOfRuin99 What are their names?

  • @ArtOfRuin99 10!

  • This submission is bullshit.

  • I think I just came...

  • Beautiful.

  • Pretty good technique my only problem with jujitsu is the way they grab the belts and sash and other things like that but that's from the opinion of a mixed martial artist.

But still pretty good and he looks quite young

  • @w8ngr thats only if they have a gi on nogi is alot better because your not supposed to grab your shirt or shorts

  • hmmmm...holy shit

  • that is ghetto!

  • that was aaaaaaawesome

  • it took me a second to realize this was slo mo, i thought that dude had some crazy muscle resistance to move that smoothly lol!! this is badazz!!

  • omg , BADASS !

  • hes break dance fighting xD gotta love jiujitsu

  • This would be a trademark Jet Li move if he did Jiujitsu.

  • 4 people wouldn't know bad ass if this guy decided to use that submission on them

  • If that would happen in UFC...submission of the Year

  • @TheTikeMyson of the milennium*

  • how can you even dislike this man... that shits amazing

  • im gonna do this to my autoshop teacher the next time he makes fun of my hyundai lol.

  • that seems like a hard move to control

  • fucking awesome submission

  • I felt exactly like Jtbae did when I saw this video.

  • I read the title and I was like "WTF? Flying omoplata? Is that even possible?" And then I saw the video and jizzed in my pants.

  • it is pretty awesome, however I have a hard time believing that this would actually work in a BJJ competion, WAY to risky and flashy. With that being said it is awesome though

  • do you think this be done without a Gi?

  • try that with no gi, thats why 10th planent JJ is way more practical

  • @alitap the gi is practical because people where jackets and sleeved shirts too... jiu jitsu is for self defense... .. mma just adopted it

  • now its time for a flying gogoplata

  • he even rollls backward at the end LOL

  • pah thats fucking dangerous ... for the other guys arm xD

  • Reminds me of Tony Jaa, I like watermelon.

  • what? modula oblangata?

  • Beautiful display!! Talk about trust in your partner's skill and ability to surrender your shoulder for something like that. There are maybe 2 people at most that I have trained with in the last 12 years that I would allow to do that, and one of them being my instructor.

  • Now that was sick.

  • it looks better in slllllooooowwwww mmmmmmoooooo

  • that is awesome.... there is pretty much no way it would ever work without someone standing perfectly still but it's pretty cool looking

  • @dearth1980 Maybe. With a good grip, I don't think it would be so impossible with a gi. I'm not claiming I could do it, but it can be done. No gi might be a good deal harder.

  • holy shit this makes the flying triangle look obsolete lol

  • crazy

  • Awesome but that wouldnt be done in no gi.the gi creates unfair advantages to the further experienced which annoys me at class lol.

  • @jumpman366 your annoyed because guys that have been doing it longer are better than you. hmmm. . .

  • @thughug22 you cant read can you? i was jokingly saying its annoying, why wouldn't a more experienced guy know how to use it?now with my no-gi classes i perform better like in passing the guard,i think its more fair because even with the older guys, its like we are on the same level.now im not even going to argue,i stopped my classes because of football so ill continue after my career.i should have been a blue belt by now.

  • man you could really fuck someones arm up doing that l ol

  • very nice

  • what if dude's not wearing a gi/jacket/long sleeved shirt???

  • @PacificFlows Then you take out your gun and shoot him in the face. Otherwise, just omoplata the fucker.

  • @PacificFlows you control the wrist

  • @PacificFlows take a wild guess, tard

  • Holy shit. That dude is one bad motherfucker. I wanna train where he trains lol

  • easy guys, it obviously wont work in a real fight but it's still sick and it's pretty cool he can pull that off

  • sick. as. FUCKK!!!!!!!!!

  • Too many guys like this are turning BJJ into Capoera. looksa more like a dance move and completely unrealistic. Easy escape in a real bout. Post a vid of you doing this in a real fight and I'll beleive it.

  • @Zeddy100 strongly agree with you on that 1. LET ALONE, TRY IT WITH SOMEONE THROWING STRIKES AT THE SAME TIME.

  • Appreciate the fact that you looped this clip 3 times over.

Stupid Youtube, with their lack of loop button.....

  • very well executed. nice job! looool at houstonissohot

  • la verdad creo que no funcionaria esta sumisión en una competencia profesional.

  • lol id just push him off

  • @ognimoddd lol good luck buddy.

  • fucking rubish unless some idiot rolls into it! If the guy standing just pulled away he's out - this is not like a flying armbar that really works, the only way this works is for the victim to be compliant and fall into the rolling shoulder lock (which is what it really is) - flying fail

  • that is awesome! damnit, that is crazy

  • the guy was just standing there anyone can prevent that by doing a forward roll in between takes too long

  • that must took months or years of training lol

  • Fuck flying armbars and triangles. This is so much fucking cooler!

  • WOW

  • holy shit

  • that is simply incredible

  • So badass

  • holy shit he can do da twist

  • can you do that in real life???

  • @negrete73 I really don't think you can grab somebody's wrist/sleeve in a real fight, you would get punched in the face 5 times at least while you're trying to do it ^_^ ( + I personally don't know many ppl who wear a Gi in the street ;D).

  • @RepentKingdom On the street most of the time people wear clothes. And even in summer time, when wearing nothing more then a t shirt or short pants, this can also be used to grab, or choke somebody with. The reason why people wear GI's is because other clothes aren't that strong. Anybody can come and do jiujitsu with for ex adidas tracksuit or casual clothes, but after a while they would be torn. That's why the GI is worn, besides traditiional purposes it's used because it simply is stronger.

  • @RepentKingdom true, but its not as uncommon to see long sleeved shirts and jackets in the streets than to see everone walking around in rashguards and boardshorts :]

  • @relientkfan023 indeed, but unlike a gi with a belt, those kind of clothing would tear/deform/ slip (a bit like when those canadian hockey players have a fight and grab each other's shirt), and i think there would be a high chance that you would fall hard on your head on the concrete in this case, which can't be a good thing ;) I personnally think that when it comes to "real fighting", nothing's better then good old punches n' kicks ! ^_^

  • @negrete73 It's just for fun, you can't even do this in competition, let alone on the street.

  • @negrete73 It's just for fun, you can't even do this in competition, let alone on the street.

  • WIN!

  • fuckin bad ass

  • Unbelievable thats shits insane

  • ok. this is officially the coolest freakin flying submission i have ever seen.

  • @docbach329 check out the chaotic armbar from guerilla jujutsu :)

  • I bet that dude gets laid like every time he shows someone that vid

  • @houstonissohot Fucking lol'd

  • @houstonissohot It's so awesome, I get laid everytime I show this vid.

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • omg i would LOVE to see someone get caught with this!

  • Damn!

  • wow nice technique, if I tried that i would probably heart myself and the other guy. Very badass.

  • amazing!

  • Yea that was beautiful If I seen someone whip this out in a street fight......lolololol I'd have a heart attack!!!!

  • thats beautiful

  • Awful lotta work just to twist someone's arm, lol.

  • hoooolllyyyy shiiiittttt... prob the hardest submission to pull off.

  • if someone did do it on you, you'd be like wtf is this....how do i get out? oh wait.....tapped....

  • its flashy but i dont think it would work

  • @mrjewjitsu0 so the breaking of your arm wouldnt stop you from doing something?

  • @JuStPlAiNDaNEjA no thats not what i ment i know the omoplata would work but doing it like this is might not

  • @JuStPlAiNDaNEjA

It actually dislocates your shoulder, it does not brake your arm.

  • @TimeWarp66 I have two blackbelts, buddy. You get my point.

  • Awesome!!

  • that move is just sexy......

  • ABSOLUTELEY BEAUTIFUL!

  • FUCKING SICK!!!!! ill that to my friends (6)

  • This move is soooo hard to do in a match though man... lol I knocked myself out trying it cuz my opponent moved his arm down has I was doing it and I hit my head on the ground.

  • intense

  • that was fucking sick

  • prolly the best omaplata ive seen. and anyone who thinks that jiu-jitsu isnt good in a street fight is stupid. 90% of the "street fights" ive been in ive won without hitting the person even one time. IMO if you can beat the person with the littlest amount of energy is the best possible way . BJJ ftw guys remember you cant fight if your arms are broke :P

  • wow that's sick ive never seen anyone pull this off though its a pretty low percentage success rate never seen it work in a tourney or a roll but still sick.

  • thats just pretty..... very pretty... its even more effective when your opponent is least expecting it!! very cool!!

  • thats wicked

  • Mate! you are THE BALLS! that made my day.
