She was 16 or 17. Can you even imagine? Bravo to her. To hell with those who love to see her in pain.

Britney is a symbol of my childhood and will always be special to me. I was... 7 when this performance was done and I watched it on TV. Even tough I didn't fully understand English I sang along as well as I could. Tough if you look at her concerts she seems to enjoy dancing more than singing.

She looked kinda nervous at the beginning. She also looked very pretty, before she chopped off most of her hair and put in extensions and lost her mind. Poor girl. I blame either her parents or the media for talking so much b.s. about her.

I have really come to appreciate this girl/woman. This has become one of the most successful songs in recorded music history, and she one of the most powerful cele'brit'ies in the world. This is a very real performance by a girl coming to terms with her sex appeal in front of a live audience. It is one thing in a studio on in front of a camera, but live, and in such a small place. She was 16 or 17. Can you even imagine? Bravo to her. To hell with those who love to see her in pain.
