I know a guy who owns an 07 427R and on the street he says you cant shift it fast enough for the power the engine pushes out. He does drive it the way it was meant to be drove,. HARD!!! He has not taken it to the track yet though.

Those rollers were extreemly hard to turn, the times would not reflect actual times at all!!! Yes the guy sucks at driving, should be shifting just under the rev limiter and powershifting at that. I got a chanch to do the same sort of thing on a drag Harley, it was pretty cool and I set the fastest time ever on my practice run. Why couldn't I do it twice? lol

A car is extremely hard to move lol. The rollers have to simulate the force it takes to move a car forward since the car isn't being pushed anywhere on a dyno. That time was probably pretty accurate with the bad wheelspin, early shift into second gear, slow shifting, and air temp/pressure etc where the event took place.

In 2008 Roush released the 427R with a 5 speed automatic. You can go to my myspace to see my latest 1/8 mile times which included a 8.04 at 89mph! That guy just didn't know how to shift to get all his hp... 2008 also included a pulley upgrade that gave it 10 extra hp over 07's
