@dvlkcc Actually, I've always wondered that, but any effort to change direction (or, in my case, send a telegram to warn ships to come early) don't work. Likely the sinking can be seen as a pivot in time, or "a convergence of world lines" if I can refer to the S;G theories, and is unchangeable (at least in the timeframe Carlson is given, but features of it can be changed to influence the overall outcome.
I set up Basilisk II emulator on my mac just so I can play this game. It never gets old. For those interested just google search Basilisk II emulation and all the instructions are there to set it up. Easy as!
@makosharkman I classified there to be 4 possible runs in the game (excluding specific bad endings): nothing changed, any ending, best ending, and "perfect ending". This last one is the best ending run plus saving all possible lives after the iceberg strike including Georgia, Vlad, the Colonel, and the child.
Best ending is simply the best ending or "you win, you changed the future to be without war".
@terrorxth I wish after they showed the Titanic sinking to the depths of the sea I wish they showed the Agent on the lifeboat talking to the people who are with him like shaylay Heorgia and the pfficer with them thats managing the boat and show the rowing to the Carpatha and boarding the ship and show teh Agent exploring the ship and see who serivived the ship wreck and who got in a life boat and show the Carpatha dacking at new York and showing the Agent being interviwed and rewarded.
@makosharkman A more in-depth "afterwards" then beyond the simple flip through a book eh? Mind, reading the credits "made on a single computer", trying to render a second ship would have have taken quite a bit (though a single "gather here please" room would work I guess). In the end, I too would have preferred more exploration into what happens after, but the game was "Titanic", the main focus should be the shup i guess.
@terrorxth what do you mean flip through the book? yes I wish we got a chance to elspre the Carpatha to and here something they could had they have had the Captine of the Carpatha turn out to be a Agent to that you were suppose to meet.
@makosharkman The endings are the ship sinking and then Carlson explaining everything to the player by using the "Memories" book on the fireplace. Curious though, wouldn't having the captain of the Carpathia be an agent imply the British government knew Titanic would sink?
@makosharkman I read it somewhere; it's probably on the postcards in the opening section in the apartment.
If no one knew Titanic would sink, let alone that the Carpathia would come to aid the survivors, how would the British government know to have an agent on the Carpathia?
@gangstamillion I would love to, but I lack the time and the capability to record it now. (The game won't install on 64-bit systems, among other things. >_<)
I'll give it another try now, but I can't promise anything.
If he could go back in time, why didn't he try to save the Titanic from hitting the iceberg at 10:40 p.m.? hmmmm?

The sinking looks hilarious. Such creative liberties were taken.

@Yogazies I know right? Someone needs to make a 32-bit installer; otherwise, you could try emulating an older system. >_<
